As a former pizza maker at Silvios back in th 90's, we would put cheese on the sauce base, then shake off anything not stuck, then the toppings, then cheese on top. So the best way is cheese top and bottom :) Hoping to be able to see you guys on Saturday, massive fans, you guys inspired us to do our own WA NT trip, two years ago in our own Forbes 13+.

Cheese! Mate you and your family are a breath of fresh air! It’s just good to see how you’ve grown and what you’ve become. Even to the point of going to get Canvas stuff made because it suits your life and then making it better and offering it to your viewers . All the while being completely transparent, you got it coz you wanted it but it might not be for everyone and you’re fine with that! I love watching your content mate. It gets back to what camping is all about.

Cheese, yep that’s a great photo 😂. A little trick if you’re interested. You screwed a tarp hook onto your stone guard. I put 2 of these on my stone stomper at the tow bar on top of the square tube. Now I don’t have to feed the elastic around the square tube. Just hook it onto the tarp hooks. Just my little hack. Cheers. Love your channel.

Double cheese. Top and bottom. Pizzas are a fav atm as my 2.5 year old wants to help and it’s something easy she can help with. I’m also interested in seeing if the masses run the AC while driving because what a banging idea!!!

We make our own pizza dough...so easy to do anywhere or pre do them before a trip and left as dough balls. Just a little "cheese> on the bottom and top works for us. The pizza oven seems to be spot on!
Love the cheese face! We do both, a small amount under as 'glue' and then heaps on top for the browning. As for the aircon we only run a trailer so dont have the option but honestly your reasoning makes sense esp for nap time. I am guessing it also draws less power to maintain something cooled than it would to cool from hot so also makes sense to do that while its not drawing just banked/solar power
That 12V setup is something to envy. I am looking forward to seeing you work it to the fullest. What else can you power with it? I think you need to get increasingly novel with hungry 240V appliances. I don't have the cheese 🤑 (or need) for that kind of set up (ute + swag) but I do relate to the feeling of satisfaction of it all working well, and also having the battery crank out amps and do what it's made for. I'm about to finish my own DIY 12V fit out with a relatively humble 100ah lithium battery, no inverter, fixed 100W panel, but the feeling is the same 😆 You have inspired me to get an additional solar blanket to use on multi day camps though, just to keep the battery topped up. I'm also running a dual motor air compressor of the secondary battery, so keeping it topped up is important.
Hi Cam & Tiff, I used to make pizzas in my bakery and I would put a little bit is “cheese” on the bottom and most on the top… Also, I like the idea of changing batteries from your car. I’ve installed a second power inlet on my van which is only connected to the ac-dc charger (only 700w) This way I can run the AC off the inverter and use my Honda EU22 generator to just run the ac-dc to charge the batteries (location permitting) and it does this at idle so barely audible as it’s not effected by the AC cycling. Have tested on a 34deg day and ran for 8hrs and battery still nearly full.

Almost every time we take our van out we have Pizza... It's easy and so good! You guys have got me wanting to try the Cheese both ways now... Still working on our electrical system for our Van but it's going to be so nice to have the power for what we want... Great Vid guys...
Cheese We use our webber babyQ to cook our pizzas in, so if we were lucky enough to win it would be a great addition to the van for cooking on windy days. 🤗

As a former pizza professional (assistant manager of a Pizza Hut store many years ago lol), cheese goes in both the top and the bottom, just smaller amounts than you’d think. However there are some exceptions eg pepperoni is bottom cheese only.

I was a Pizza Hut manager for ten years back when they were a dine in restaurants, and the sequence we used to make the pizzas was. Sauce, cheese, flat meats, like peperroni, vegs, any other meats, prawns, anchovies then more cheese if extra cheese was ordered. I personally prefered a bit more cheese on top just to bind it all together. The cheese must be Mozzarella. I am not saying that is right or wrong, just the way we did it. Allways look forward to your vids.

Happy with either method of pizza construction. Cheese on bottom or cheese on top works, as long as someone else is making it for me.
We always make pizza with cheese on bottom and a light sprinkle of cheese on top. Wicked power system you've got.
We just picked up a Jayco camper and I have little trailer experience so it’s nice to see someone else struggle a bit that has experience ;)

Pro tip - the traditional order is sauce, then cheese, then toppings. Then, top it off with some extra cheese if desired.
