Really good advice. I co organize for a meetup group and on several occasions I have ended up at a meetup with only on other person who was a man. In all three cases the men were significantly younger than me so I always gave them an out jokingly so they don't feel obligated to hang out with a mom age member. None opted out. I have had these long type of conversations with the men at the events and I can see where the friendly thing comes in. They don't mind hanging out and talking because they enjoy the conversation. I could see how a younger women could misconstrue such long conversations as interest.

my friend was single for 7 years she met this guy 8 months ago he has 3 shildren she has a daughter but shes in her 20s his children are all below the age of 10 so when he first met her like you said he gave an effert now the past few months not so much he has never paid for anything for her until she told him that shes will be going on a date with someone else then he took her out and bought her a few things not realy because he wanted to it was because he was afraid she will meet someone else his money only for himself and his younger son if the ex calls for money he run to give it to the ex for his son but never for my friend ever they dont have the same interests at all she said she only staying with him because shes afraid to be alone i am frustrated with her i dont get why shes so insecure to that point when i know someone who is better for her and available she tells me shes excited to meet him soon but on the other hand still hanging on to this other guy who is not compatible to her

What about if he is shy?He have kids every other week, and can`t meet you when he has them, before it is really serious. He say he is interested. We knew who each other was, from the old days, but met online and have talked on a app for two months. But only met two times,and just as friends because we need to get to know each other from scratch. Because of the children-situation he can only meet when he does not have them, but often then he has to work on his house etc when he has spare time,he says he has to prioritize his house. Is this excuses or can he be shy or honest, and don`t want to rush?

Really good advice. I co organize for a meetup group and on several occasions I have ended up at a meetup with only on other person who was a man. In all three cases the men were significantly younger than me so I always gave them an out jokingly so they don't feel obligated to hang out with a mom age member. None opted out. I have had these long type of conversations with the men at the events and I can see where the friendly thing comes in. They don't mind hanging out and talking because they enjoy the conversation. I could see how a younger women could misconstrue such long conversations as interest.

Valentine's Day he went crazy and got very sexual so I asked after 4 months are we progressing now? No. We are friends... but he likes me, and why am I (meeee?!) complicating it? He's right; most of the friends are by convenience. For example, we thought this one kid would be perfect for Homecoming; high school version. Problem, he's from Minnesota and his Mom is not happy about being here so she's sabotaging him from making connections here with the hope they'll go back in a few years. So Michelle was going to ask him to homecoming, and I thought no I'm not sure that's a good idea. Maybe if he was just a bit older, had his own car, and wasn't completely under his Mom's thumb. I said his Mom, unfortunately, I think will try to make this as difficult for you as possible which isn't fair to you. I said we've run into them a couple times and the mother has shown NO interest in you at all. When it's one of your friends' Moms they're hunting us up at school events. So sadly for her own best interest, I kind of got her to not do it.
