They wanted to know how… I guessed she’d spent many an hour sitting and breaking beans and using that same (peeling) knife to cut out spots. It’s how my Mom & Nan did it (and I can some.) Cutting skills are in the eye of the beholder-to me as long as it’s edible, it’s perfect.

I make 3-4 meals on Sunday, Wednesdays and Fridays for my family of 4 so we have a variety of meals at all times. I also do big batch cooking and put 2-3 meals in the freezers every week. We have numerous appointments, therapists that come in home and work with my special needs kiddos so this all helps us eat. I learned how to use knife skills when I was selling Cutco- due to my neuropathy, carpal tunnel and arthritis- I use my own style and skills..lol.

Grocery pickup or delivery was nice in the beginning, but now it seems like a lot of the items I ordered were out of stock and they didn't have a replacement, so it was dropped from my order altogether!! Now I find myself traveling back to the grocery store to get the items myself!

Have you ever tried the true lime or lemon packets for your water? I find them to be a convince. I do think a full package is to much for 16 Oz bottle but it is helpful.

I don’t know if anyone has ever tried it. My mom makes ham were she cooks it in her slow cooker all night in butter and Diet Pepsi. It is sooo delicious!!!!!!

So much deliciousness in one video! The white chicken chili is one of my personal favorites! That Herdez Verde Salsa is such a great recipe ingredient. I like to purée a can or 2 of the beans, it adds a little thickness to the sauce. I do the same with my ham & bean soup. **** Tip for you, shake your jars of homemade broth before you pour them out, I noticed there was some of the bone broth goodness still in the bottom of the jars.
When I knew I was going to have a busy week, I would cook several meals at once. Saves time and money in the long run. I still do it now about once a month, just for convenience sake.
