So well said, adults need the same love and comfort as children, perhaps in different ways but as all of God's children, when we are hurt, healing comes in many ways and having a community of friends and family around you who are loving, kind, compassionate and most of all just "there" , is truly invaluable. Jamerille as we know from her testimonials about her childhood, has been an overcomer for a very very long time. I am not surprised that she has been able to gather her skirts and come out of the ashes once again. I love to see her virtual family, all of us out here, being so kind and loving. Sometimes social media can be very unkind, I am so happy to read hundreds of comforting, kind compassionate and encouraging messages from one woman to another, it really helps to heal my own heart, which has been pretty tender for several months due to my own traumatic things going on. Like Jamerille, I lean on the Lord. Leaning on the everlasting arms has been on repeat with me for several months. We will overcome. We shall overcome. Prayers to all of those who need some extra gentle care and love right now. ❤🙏

You sound great in your voiceover and it was was so awesome to see you feeling good enough to do your big batch cooking again! And when you said you might not do a big veggie garden, I thought that spring might get here and you might feel even better and want to! You look so great and my prayers have been and are with you! My mom (I’m 66…so it has stuck with me for a long time) always said to me that “we cannot control others…but we can only control ourselves!”We are not promised an easy life. We have not had a whole cow since my Dad's passing. He was always diligent in making sure the freezer was full of quality meat. I would definitely be making and freezing chili and meatloaf with the burger..Yummy. This is one reason why I want chickens, the reduction on food waste would be amazing.

I know what you’re going through. I went through almost exactly the same thing many years ago. I was a a horse woman for 36 years, like your Mom only western. I made a decision that obviously my 4 kids came first. I had to sell my other pride and joy registered quarter horses and all tack. I thought one day I’d be able to get another horse. That day never came but I am so proud of the Mom I was/am to those boys. Life rolls on and family is the most important thing! 🙏 ❤

I don’t want to say welcome back or glad to see your big batch cooking or any of those things because I don’t want you to feel that pressure from this viewer. If it brings you joy and makes you happy and you were ready for it….then this viewer is happy for you. I wished I lived even remotely close (I’m in Ontario, Canada!) so that I could bring your family some sort of meals for you…..you are always helping others out in their time of need. Like….a lot of food and charitable donations from you personally. And while your current journey of life is nobody’s business……I hope there have been some blessings of food gifted your way for all that you do for others. We all walk through crap in our lives (2023 hasn’t exactly been kind to me and my family either!) but you have been a great inspiration for me to pick myself up, dust myself off and keep on going. And remember….you owe nobody anything except your authentic self, your personal privacy and gentleness for yourself. Walmart and Costco can take care of you for as long as you need them!! Yes, it is definitely, soup weather! 🥶I'm going to make some stuffed pepper soup, loaded potato soup, and another kind soon. I just had chicken soup the past couple of days. So, I won't be making that for a while. When I make chicken soup I use a few drumsticks and make a small pot. 😋 Good to see a mega massive cooking video, again. Hallelujah!

I've found God tells us when we need to take breaks. Broke my wrist 2 weeks after my son passed. Cooking single handed is not so easy. Forget ziplock- you need a VACMASTER chamber sealer. I got one used from a deli that opened and closed in a 3mo timeframe. I paid $250 for what was $1500 in supplies. 5 years later I would buy that over and over. Chamber vac sealers are amazing and all over the used market.

Oh and also we save the celery bottoms and my 10 yr old Naomi loves to plant them in a huge pot after you root them in the house in a cup full of water. She has like 8 of them growing all together and we live in Oklahoma so its cold and she goes out and covers her plant. The best schooling ever! I would say let thr kids pick a plant box each to grow whatever they want for kitchen pick out seeds or buy plants already started i like how beefy store tomatoe plants are and help water i loooooovvee watering in the morning and evening if i can i have 7 kids! I do farm egg chickens, gardening and pigeons ( for showing) and i do it all for the kids because i dont alwaus have time so they takeover and its such a great lesson. Much love sister❤

I detest cutting up butternut squash and acorn squash. Many cuts and even stitches. No one ever suggested just throw the whole darn thing in oven. Why in the heck I haven't thought of it. 😅 Thank you!! Glad to see you back in kitchen. ❤
