Red has such an ear for arrangement, God. All of his songs have this weird quality where he imitates just enough instrumentation to hear the different sections of the song, it always goes really well when someone arranges on top of his vocals.
I spent years staying in LA and it’s sad how many homeless are actually super talented..dreamers that got lost along the way…I hope he is in good spirits and in a better situation

Well...I can't remember being touch like this by a song that wasn't gospel or one of those love songs that I can personally relate to. This is neither. This man whom people probably walk by like he doesn't exist, had his fate cross the path of the talent and resources of Jose Q. at the right time and place to divinely find our (my) ears. I haven't played my keyboards in over a year.... after finding this, I was compelled to pull it out and play this chord progression.
