What a treat for a Sunday evening.
I believe a few of the 'wet baths' as stated actually have shower partitions in the bathrooms such as in La Strada and the Hymer.
Wow Europe is kicking our butt in class B’s and B+’s…minus the no AC thing lol loving the sightseeing. Matt “that does not look safe” 😂😂 I was expecting a “THIS is NOT a prime hiking position”
If you want an AC you can put it in as an option. Yes it will rise the price. But with the strikt weight rules on RVs you only put in things that you 100% need.
I have looked at websites of “caravans” from Europe in the past. My wife’s mother is from Ireland and we communicate fairly often. The last time we were in Ireland, we talked about camping. The would rent a caravan every year and travel around the continent. I have driven the roads in Europe and they are typically narrower than the roads in the US. I have over a million miles in the drivers seat driving ambulances, police cars, pickup trucks with campers, motorhomes, and even a tractor trailer. Our vehicles are pretty wide, very heavy, and not very fuel efficient. I think Europe is moving in the right direction in their campers and motorhomes. Their buses and semis are narrower than ours and get better gas mileage. I don’t really want a class B. I do like my class C. I like what I see in the European market and I would like the American counterparts to start working to make the motorhome market more efficient and with more safety features. Maybe see a hybrid (a total electric vehicle isn’t practical for traveling any distance). I have a Ford F-150 hybrid that can pull up to 12,000 pounds. Safety features are becoming more important. Motorhomes over 16,000 pounds require a different class license. A regular driver’s license is good for nearly all class Cs but not for most class As and super-Cs. My state requires a written test and road test.
OMG Matt. You were so brave to do that cliff walk. I mean. I had to remind myself to breathe while I watching. And the bike ride down didn’t carefree either. Phew.
Oh, and loved the tours. So glad you and Andrea make the annual trips and show us all the amazing vehicles.

Imagine getting groceries pulling into a walmart parking lot in that monster overlander type safari NFQ beast …..I would, lol.

That Hymer B+ is the awesome, hopefully one of these manufacture s does one like this which will fit a full sized dirt bike/motocross bike in its garage soon (KTM 300 etc). Love the upholstery. Notice how all the Euro RVs you have shown in this series and we haven't seen a single cupboard thats not lined up perfectly. If Thor own them why can't they build something half as good themselves.
The Rapido makes the coachman Euro thing you showed look like a DIY Rv and $100 000 Euro is $105 000 usd. How is the coachman around $200???

RE: that first B Class- ditch the passenger sests in the back and give me a bigger DRY bath and maybe a little storage instead.

The Beauer was very different and fun...but it looked really cramped! I don't think I could camp in that
RV height is a concern for me. So many unmarked low clearances.
You can purchase a GPS for RVs that take low clearances into consideration when calculating a route. That will solve the issue.

Matt we love you but you went way to fast. There were cabinets behind passenger seats you missed, you said 2 bathroom were same and they were way different,one was a dry bath about 3rd way through on couple of b+vans. Please slow down some
Love the Beauer!
What you'll also note is their weight. These have very little MDF in them and the shell sections are one piece like a typical teardrop. The one that they were in in the show is ~2000lbs. The super large one is about 4850lbs and yet tows like a 20ft trailer. (about 21.5ft total length plus tongue) It also has 2 legitimate bedrooms side by side. I've not seen a trailer oriented like that, but now want ALL trailers to be that way. It's just so much more efficient.

Thoose are mainly used to go down to Africa. But also to middle east, Austraila, South America. Russia and northern Europe.

@Matt, i don't know if you realized what you were looking at when you were in the big Benz trucks, like the Actros, the "big LED screens" in the cockpit are the mirrors. There are no mirrors outside, just cameras. No more dirty mirrors! worth pointing out, i think. And, i am with you on having AC in my camper. Here in the south of the US, it is way to hot without AC. the Beauer trailer would have been cool to show all folded up like a teardrop camper when going down the road. easy to tow, better fuel mileage.
Loved all the RV’s. Those Switzerland landscapes and mountains, breathtaking! It looks just like the landscape on the Swiss miss hot chocolate box!😂When you were going up the mountain in the tram, were those cabins that were below you that you kept passing? I have heard that Switzerland is very expensive but I think it’s because all healthcare is free there, but that’s the only thing I’ve heard about it. I’m positive there are other reasons too. You guys are so lucky, you’ve been to some amazing places! Treasure that time with your family mmm hi plus this is one place you’ve gone that you can definitely check off your bucket list 😂. I have a silly question, Andrea is beautiful and looks looks is ❤asian, obviously, but I was wondering of what Asian descent is she. Just curious, u certainly don’t have to answer that question. I'll say it. I would imagine that the quality of the units built in Europe far surpass anything built in the USA.

The Beauer looks great and is well laid out but I think it could benefit by being a little more rectangular in shape, the curved top removes headroom.

For ten years I waited for a North American manufacturer to make something like the Wingamm. Looks like I'll get an actual Wingamm before that happens.
I really wish American rv's were more like these.

Your success is because you two are putting in work 24/7. That's drive. And you bring others up around you too. Keep going buddy! Make sure to get some well deserved rest for yourself (complete unplug) and then hit again!
That’s my husband 😂 he never stops hustling.it’s 24/7 and I wish he would take a break sometimes.
We can talk about quality all we want to but all I see are dinettes with uncomfortable bench seats, and mostly plastic toilets and wet baths😩Give me a sofa and/or theater seating and a porcelain toilet or give me death😂

Every time quality and design come up and someone starts with the "earthquake" and "can't" nonsense I just point at europe. we are RV'ing in home depot garden sheds lashed to a harbor freight trailer kit by comparison.
I love European rvs because of their high quality n innovation too bad the USA can’t offer these

Matt, I've heard it in every video from Dusseldorf. I just don't get why you keep saying "these euro style windows?," while you are in Europe looking at RVs made in Europe.??? Wouldn't it just be" nice windows" or something?
