Very nice APC! I love the movie Aliens and have built a custom APC in LEGO form (I even placed first/grand prize in a custom LEGO building contest ran by the company Brickmania for a Hadley's Hope diorama that included the APC). That said, I've been eyeing the Hiya Toys version for a while now. I wasn't too happy with the first version seeing how its black/dark gray coloring was so inaccurate to the movie but now that the military drab olive green is available (along with the Burning version) I'm sorely tempted although I honestly wouldn't know where to display it given how big it is, lol. Thanks for showing off the features of the vehicle! I looked at videos and schematics and still images to make the LEGO version and I'm glad that they almost match with the details of the exterior and interior. Shame that the ankle of your included Colonial Marine figure broke. I hope the retailer where you bought the APC from was able to replace the defective figure but it speaks to how brittle that joint is if other customers are experiencing the same thing. I think the Super7 figures, even if they aren't quite as proportionate or articulated as Hiya, present a cool retro vibe when displayed with the APC. Good work on the video review!
Wow I’d love to see that custom! I’ll check if it’s on your channel. The figure seems to have been a bonus bc it wasn’t listed with the item contents anywhere. It was really brittle tho lol. I totally agree about the 1st APC I wasn’t going for the black color. Had to have the Army green 🫡. I wish Super7 did a few more Colonial Marines, especially Apone, but the ones we do have are super cool. Thanks for the fun comment! Hope to see that custom.

My channel isn't active at all (I'm definitely more of a consumer/watcher than I am an uploader of content) but my custom Aliens diorama can be found at Brickmania's official channel: ruclips.net/video/irbDyl6d7AA/видео.html Since the contest ended, I've made some improvements to the APC (with custom printed parts for Lt Gorman's command center computer terminals plus some 2D Sulaco markings for the front of the vehicle) and diorama itself (I added opening/sliding doors in the back and a light-up hallway where I placed two of those automated remote controlled turret machine guns from the deleted bonus scene from the Director's Cut of Aliens). I also improved the build of the Alien Xenomorphs themselves with better proportions and articulation (they can even turn their heads to look up now for crawling-on-all-fours posing). The beauty of LEGO is that the builder can swap out things and make changes whenever, lol. I do have a Flickr account where I can upload the photos there when I get the chance (life and work has been keeping me busy). Keep up the good work and you got yourself a new subscriber!
It's really great, may some details here and there are missing on the exterior but that's I guess accepted at this scale and the price point. The internals are exceptional. I hope there is some possibility that Hiya does the team at least in 1:12 scale. :)
Most NECA figures are 7”. This vehicle is for 3.75” figures. It wouldn’t work unless it was for display purposes then it would look cool. But the figure won’t fit inside the APC.
