I like how the cinematic uses waves in both a liquid and a sound sense.
The entire game revolves around sound and waves. As Jinyan said in the first open beta. "We do not fear ring of the bell, but the silence that follows."
And for Science (The Fermi Paradox), the "silence" he's referring to is the "Great Silence", an extinction event where a powerful extradimensional race exterminates a lesser race that is still incapable of interstellar travel or even communication, hereby "silencing" it's voice, before it can be heard in the universe. Where a race might get a chance to survive.
It's a fight. A fight to ensure our voice will be heard loud and clear across the universe, that we refused to be silenced.
Everything in the game is music/waveform themed. Characters are called "Resonators" (devices that amplify sounds/waves by reflecting them), and their finishers "Resonance" (the activity of amplifying sounds/waves), and their combos: "Concerto"(musical composition of different instruments, or in Wuthering Waves' case: different characters) a captured enemy is appropriately called an "Echo", because it's literally what is left of them (The lingering sound that gets reflected back).

Aside from the amazing graphics, love how this short manages to capture and convey a myriad of emotions in one minute, happiness, sadness and gentle farewell without any need of dialogue. And despite zero knowledge about this Goddess, you can already understand what type of relationship she and Rover seems to share.
Kuro, you went beyond this. And can say without a doubt, this is beautiful.

I hate how we have to wait till the 19th but it’s fine, I have all the patience for Wuthering waves. Though I wonder if they’re gonna launch cbt2 early like how they did with the pre-download.
please please ask them to create shared universe(if that isnt the case already) with PGR. I want this character to be Lucia so bad. And the story if its not good be honest with them and let them know. i want the story to be just as good as combat. its okay if they start slow they can always pick it up in later patches.
I think graphics and beautiful scenery are only good at the begging. After playing for a while what keeps a game more interesting is gameplay specially combat. For example like sekiro, you can play again and again after finishing the game and still enjoy it.

I immediately cried after watching this cinematic. As a closed beta tester for PGR global and PGR player since Day1, following WW ever since technical test until now ( 2-3 years ), I’m so happy to see the development and changes from technical test until CBT2. Seeing the huge improvements in the animation and seeing the character reminding me of Lucia Plume made me sobbed more
May all CBT2 testers have a pleasant and fun time testing the game, and don’t forget to give construct criticisms too!
This is going to be amazing when it releases and I'm ready for it!

it's not a rotating black hole it just popped outta nowhere couldn't be an Einstein rosen bridge so that leaves us with wormhole/simulation and those aren't quantum fluctuations according to quantum field theory virtual particles pop into existence collide and eliminate eachother they look more like what Tesla said "if u wanna find the truth about the universe think in terms of energy, frequency, and wavelength"
ight now here's my theory yknow how the game emphasizes frequency a lot? and echos are well echos? so this is how the story goes we have an advance civilization on one faithful day someone discovers how everything is just frequency and then they make rapid advancement and everything's going good but someone figures out that these frequencies become 'unstable' they bring chaos obviously by becoming monsters and they use it for their own gain the world gets destroyed because everyone is turning into monsters by becoming unstable now someone else figures out u could use these frequencies to do what u want as abilities and the most capable users fix this problem and they take these unstable cores and put it in some part of a human body (what she did to mc) which can then be controlled remember how we turn in echos by pressing q and these capable heros leave the planet because by staying here they make things unstable but just like a good anime that's only the beginning now we again have a shepherd (evil guy) some black lambs (our heros) and sheeps this shepherd wants to turn this world upside down again so he makes everything unstable and this is where the cutsceen begins a wormhole opens up our mc has some stuff he needs to take care of that's why she sends him back and now he has to fix all these unstablility business all over again
