Oooh I had to get a cuppa tea for this, wow it looks beautiful, I'm waiting for a DA delivery today I hope mine looks as healthy as yours, I love Cinderella Fairytale 😍 how long can you keep them in the original packing, I don't want to plant it until maybe October?? Thank you for sharing new subscriber here 😁👍
Hi and thanks Bear in mind I’m only a novice but I’d say you would be ok to leave it in it’s original pot until October. Some suppliers including da the roots can arrive very sparse and lose in the pot which isn’t a great thing. So leaving them in there containers a while actually helps as the roots spread out and dense up. I’ve had it before where the roots crumble and disintegrate as you spin it upside down. With these roses it then takes a while to show any growth. That’s my experience anyway. Also my thoughts just recently are leaving them in the pots a while might give you an idea of disease resistance and flowering etc before planting. But obviously you don’t want the pot to get root bound. Hope that helps and thanks again. I’ll check out your channel.
She’s one of my favorites, second only to Desdemona who I have a 17 rose hedge of against the wrought iron fence in my backyard (50ft long).
