It must’ve been so disorienting for all of them. But luckily, with time, everyone got used to it. Also, don’t get mad at me, but I kind of chuckled when Anya lost the words on her arm. She kind of deserved it for being a prick to Jane and Ariel.
I love the ending it's adorable, and it's a very nice conclusion to the series. This is a very good ending all in all (personally would've loved a bit more Miguel and Garrett but I am in fact heavily biased)
Ah, I loved this series, you did an amazing work 🥺💖 I love soulmates AUs, but I loved how you spinned it showing how it could have it's own can of worms. It made some happy, but many other miserable. The truth is that love doesn't just find you, you can just go by try and error and build to make it have meaning. This series was great and your edition is amazing, congrats 🥳🎉
There could almost be a whole series out of the Soulmate collapse. It's such a drastic change to instantly snap out of existence. Systems that ran on proof of a Soulmate (Marriage, insurance, inheritance, jobs & job progression, religion) would instantly be thrown into chaos as their established rules would be impossible to follow any further. Cultures that ran on it, see Anya and her 'newly bound ball' running it like a Prom or right of passage, would likely be forced to die out; other examples being heirs to the thrones being soulmates only (to ensure succession), and people taking vows to refuse their soulmate (like nuns or monks), and cultures that rely on matchmakers to hunt out their soulmates. Over years Soulmates becoming a minority who are desperate to preserve something of their culture. Cults/religions that beg the gods to give back what was theirs "bring back what once was mine." Maybe just to Pathos, maybe to all three. Or going all 'doomsday' that the end is near, or taking away soulmates was a punishment of some kind. If we really wanted to push it, the sudden end may even put entire countries at risk of changing boarders and alliances. Maybe some countries don't exist anymore, maybe the potential for new ones arises ...
Endless ideas for the sudden death of a way of life. On the other hand, the rise of non-soulmate marriages may likely be met with opposition for a while, perhaps Jasmine and Henry needed to insist for many years before they were allowed- while priority was given to those who were proven soulmates before The End. Whole cultures having to RELEARN the idea of Love and Connections with no soulmate-bond to do it for them! So many chances for great changes to arrive! What a fascinating end to end this series on. And as we can see by Jasmine and Henry, and Melody, people still find a way to be happy. And what's better is that they chose it themselves.

I watched the first episode of this series when it first came out 2 years ago... Then I completely forgot about it until this popped up in my recommendations 😅 So I went back and watched all the parts and I have to say this is one of my favorite non/Disney crossover series ever!!

Idk I think I'd like a clue to who is my soulmate still. >_< I still feel bad for Jim and belle. AU of AU they meet and get together there.. my head cannon. I feel better haha. I loved this series it really kept me thinking might be your best yet!
