To be fair Pocahontas and John Smith most likely never happened in real life so if Disney is able to ship an inexistent romance others can too. I’m shipping Pocahontas and Ramises screw it 😅
Depending on which version of the Bible you read, he actually wasn’t that bad (yes, slavery is bad, but he was a product of his era). He was going to let the Hebrew’s go, but God decided he needed to flex; and so he hardened Ramses’ heart.

Ramses and Moses probably wouldn't even that close in the Bible, and the Bible records how it was Pharaoh who hardened his heart for the first five plagues. Beginning the sixth plague, then God began securing Pharaoh's hardening (which is where you may get the claim that God hardened his heart) so God could get back at Ramses and hand him over to face the consequences of his actions by drowning him in the Red Sea (something that was purely Pharaoh's choice). So no, God didn't take away anybody's free will lol
