well discord is the only real value that zen gives to a team(apart from dmg but discord is in the same category) so theres only so much you can do other than just clicking heads

I mean he's a support, if he would have the upper hand against most heroes in a 1v1 one it be a little much. Mercy or Ana won't win many of those either
@@TheDvanSlam atleast mercy can fly away from the fight, ana can sleep an enemy and heal herself with the grenade. zen's dmg is not enough to kill some enemies as fast as they can kill zen.

In summary, Zen is a spammer and a backliner. He has no fall off damage too, which boosts his backlining abilities. Being aware of your position in relation to your team and the enemy is crucial since he lacks mobility. Most importantly, trans is not necessarily a push ult. Sometimes it's ok to use your trans just to stay alive or to get to point (you have increased move speed with it!)
A good series would be applying these matchups to tempo and space control, in a more team oriented environment. Like “hog likes to take long fights to have as many hook opportunities as possible. If he overextends, you can discord him and your team can rush him to burst him down. The availability of discord is a great tool to increase tempo or focus typically bulkier targets”

I feel like tracer 1v1 is more fair compared to the genji 1v1 because the lack of deflect and the 150hp.

honestly, the fact you can briefly track discorded enemies behind walls is an incredibly useful trick. It might not be as strong as some of the other wall-hack abilities (infra, sonic, sombra passive) but it also has no cooldown so it's awesome.
It's insane how many enemies forget that and get 5-orbed.

Really? Have you ever met him, talked to him, or played with him? I'm assuming you're just a random fan.... I've had close experiences with UV and can confirm that he's awful. Hope the Reign do poorly next year.

@@TheMysteriouswatcher Well for context, pretty much everyone who I've talked to who has interacted with UV has the same story. He plays ranked in a discord call with his friends and just makes fun of players and people the whole time. It's really mean and makes people feel bad. I personally experienced this recently: He was locking zen and asking me to swap brig. I explained that brig is one of the only heros I'm not very good at, but I can play Bap, Mercy, Zen, Ana, Moira. After offering to swap to 77% of the cast, he just got really angry and kept spamming SWAP BRIG and ridiculed me publicly via his discord call and stream. Really shitty 17 year old that needs to grow up.

Major probs that you still play and grind Overwatch. Ever since OW2 was announced. I was very hyped then I moved to my first BR game of Apex Legends ands never came back to OW. Been very disappointed with how things been turning out for OW over the last like 2 years and couldn't imagine playing it 8+ hours a day.

I love playing Zen but I feel like he needs a slight buff or another ability...hes so fun! But compared to other healers he just has no strong counter ability besides 5 orb and on console it can be hard to land and it takes time. Its weird because he also can be op at times offensivley but overall hes too squishy
Give him the ability to touch the ground and just start running when he's in danger

Tip to know if Sombra has EMP:
Press Tab and look at her Ult Points. If she has 1400 or more, she has ult, so if you see her points are near 1000, try to distance yourself from your team while still managing to shoot your Harmony Orbs. Either she'll EMP you or the team, if she EMPs you your team is safe to push and if she EMPs the team, use Transcendence to make them survive the enemy pushing.

I feel like, even in these vids, positioning is not emphasized enough. Zen is a fine character. Tricky, sure, but if you can position well, you'll be surprised how well zen can hold his own. He doesn't need an escape or a defensive cooldown, you just need to be situationally aware
