Echo is the last hero released until Overwatch 2 comes out. I'm not going to change the title of the series since it's so iconic and easy to find and remember at this point. @@dogdog53 all Blizzard had to do was increase the charge cost. Yes, it resets team fights but so many things can counter it, EMP, any stun, any cc, the ice demon. Plus, you can't blame the Mercy, FOR DOING HER JOB!!

Yeah. . .for Moira, you really just have to have the aim to kill her before she gets you. The best thing about the matchup for Echo is that Dmg Orb is hard to get a lot of value in the sky, so you have more time than other Divers to fight a Moira. If you're good with Primary Fires, Sticky Bombs will usually force out Fade, and then you can try for Primary + Beam combo Just be careful to have a way out if things go wrong, or to dive at the right time to make sure that your team gets kills off of Moira not paying attention to her team.
My general tip I thought he should mention is to always keep in mind you can cancel your abilities. Flight should be cancelled most of the time, after that initial momentum burst or once you get to your destination (such as high ground) you should cancel it to start its CD sooner. Similar thing for beam. If you are beaming a zarya and she shields, or the person your beaming gets pocketed by an ana, just cancel it. Her beam has the lowest dps of her entire kit without the damage ramp up, so if the enemy is stopping you from getting value just cancel it so you can try again sooner :) (cancel button is same as the cast button)
Ive found cloning wrecking ball is super effective, you can clone him above the enemies, piledrive and ult. Or, if its control, you can just start spinning on point and you should get your mines inside a few seconds. If you guys didnt know, the mines stay after you go back to echo.

These are all important videos to watch, no matter what your main is. Learning how to fight other heroes with your hero isn't enough. You also need to learn how other heroes fight you. Whenever it's my main's turn in these videos, I feel weird. It's like, "hey that's me! they're talking about me!" or something
It’s because lower ranks don’t know how to use it. If you watch OWL or understand high rank it can bring so much pressure and / or easy shield break. Most people think you have to high noon in the backline and have a 5k to do good.. like higher ranks know graving 1 player is good aswell

I love how Sam says it's easy to predict Lucio's wallriding but keeps a non Lucio player on healing and in a predictable circle 😂 not to mention Lucio's and Echo's ignore one another until they have to attempt to hit each other.
Cloning a genji is a very good idea if youre a good genji. If you were a genji main for example before playing Echo, having an enemy genji could be the key to getting 2-3 kills with your ult every fight
@@khioune I won't deny that his ult is very powerful in situations but for the most part? If you're not being babysit by a Reinhardt you will get killed/stunned out of it. It can be a great zoning ult though if you are being babysit.

I'm going to add a general tip, you can cancel your focus beam if you fat finger or just do it and don't need it. That way you aren't locked in the animation with nothing to kill.
For moira you just have to stick her after she uses her fade, so force her to use it, get the stickys on her, and melt, if executed right she cant out heal that.

@@pogchamp8885 a basic brig is good but a good brig can dominate an enemy team and even tank in some situations (rip 500 hp shield) brig is my 2nd favorite character just because she's a cool concept and her ability combos can be very rewarding when used intelligently. Also, I set "Goodbye" to one of my mouse buttons so I can say it whenever I boop someone off the map with her mace.
for winston ult it is also nice to know that you get ult charge from knocking people off the map and switching back to echo before they die gives you ult charge... killing said winston at full health grants 23% ult charge instantly
We were losing third point on Rialto. Last team fight and both my healers got killed. I clone mercy by accident. Healed the team, resurrected my Moira, then killed their mercy and the dps with sticky bombs just before I died. We won the round, then lost the game
dont switch into ball unless you are good at him but doom gets the #1 dps duplicate? that sounds biased af, no offense tho, but doom is so freaking hard to play if youre not used to him that this choice doesnt make sense
I mean if you think about it, Sombra has to set a translocater, turn invisible and hang out behind the enemy team, wait for the right moment, hack someone, then shoot them to really get value and build her ultimate. Echo's ultimate doesn't last that long and your team needs to be ready to follow up immediately. So yes, EMP is impactful but echo turning into sombra is not.
You have to be really aggressive and know how to use translocator as something other than an escape tool. Hack will still last the full 5 seconds if you're kicked out of Dupe, so an Aggressive EMP is perfectly fine so long as you get it off
i dont really like his criteria for the pass vs fail. some of them made sense, but (for example) he said not to copy wrecking ball if you don't have ball mechanics and that's why ball fails. I feel like that isn't a "tip" and he should have instead been passing or failing heroes with the assumption that the echo player knows how to play whomever she clones. obviously no matter how good the clone target is, if you dont know how to play that hero you should be cautious when cloning them. he could have instead phrased it like "wrecking ball passes because mines is a good ult, but echo players should beware because his mechanics are harder than the average hero which can make getting value from him difficult."
^ This. The pass/fail should be given under the assumption you can play the hero competently. Not to mention the double-standard of Doom being his #1 DPS clone choice despite being completely terrible in the hands of an unskilled player.

People still think these vids are only beneficial when you play the heroes you watch. Its not. Knowing what your enemies can do to you puts you at a slight advantage when you know the enemy is skilled.
It is a good ult are all the people saying this from bronze? It zones out everyone coming into choke,point etc it’s pretty good even if you don’t get kills you do a lot of dmg to barriers especially as echo you can do it without dying
JPTrady what are you talking about. It zones for 6.5 sec, big deal. It’s not an emp, or Transcendence, or hell even an anti-nade. It’s not a bad ult, but it’s no where near a good ult. Soldiers ult zones for about the same amount of time, and is countered in the exact same way as mccrees, is soliders ult a GREAT ult? No
Even though I am not the no where near as good as samito, one thing I’d recommend for echos ult is to clone someone you know how to play. For example even though mccree is recommended by samito I am terrible at him so generally I don’t clone him. His recommendations are good but there’s no point if u can’t play the hero’s, so go for someone you understand and know how to play.

They do stay like grav does but not for long, it's about 2 extra seconds

Good point to note when copying Pharah is that a normal barrage can come as a surprise but when copied, the enemy team is expecting it already.

dont switch into ball unless you are good at him but doom gets the #1 dps duplicate? that sounds biased af, no offense tho, but doom is so freaking hard to play if youre not used to him that this choice doesnt make sense
Dps players are expected to play a competent doom: they are not expected to play a competent Hammond. Pretty simple

He did NOT say emp wasnt impactful. What?
I mean if you think about it, Sombra has to set a translocater, turn invisible and hang out behind the enemy team, wait for the right moment, hack someone, then shoot them to really get value and build her ultimate. Echo's ultimate doesn't last that long and your team needs to be ready to follow up immediately. So yes, EMP is impactful but echo turning into sombra is not.

You have to be really aggressive and know how to use translocator as something other than an escape tool. Hack will still last the full 5 seconds if you're kicked out of Dupe, so an Aggressive EMP is perfectly fine so long as you get it off
i dont really like his criteria for the pass vs fail. some of them made sense, but (for example) he said not to copy wrecking ball if you don't have ball mechanics and that's why ball fails. I feel like that isn't a "tip" and he should have instead been passing or failing heroes with the assumption that the echo player knows how to play whomever she clones. obviously no matter how good the clone target is, if you dont know how to play that hero you should be cautious when cloning them. he could have instead phrased it like "wrecking ball passes because mines is a good ult, but echo players should beware because his mechanics are harder than the average hero which can make getting value from him difficult."
^ This. The pass/fail should be given under the assumption you can play the hero competently. Not to mention the double-standard of Doom being his #1 DPS clone choice despite being completely terrible in the hands of an unskilled player.

People still think these vids are only beneficial when you play the heroes you watch. Its not. Knowing what your enemies can do to you puts you at a slight advantage when you know the enemy is skilled.

It is a good ult are all the people saying this from bronze? It zones out everyone coming into choke,point etc it’s pretty good even if you don’t get kills you do a lot of dmg to barriers especially as echo you can do it without dying
JPTrady what are you talking about. It zones for 6.5 sec, big deal. It’s not an emp, or Transcendence, or hell even an anti-nade. It’s not a bad ult, but it’s no where near a good ult. Soldiers ult zones for about the same amount of time, and is countered in the exact same way as mccrees, is soliders ult a GREAT ult? No

Even though I am not the no where near as good as samito, one thing I’d recommend for echos ult is to clone someone you know how to play. For example even though mccree is recommended by samito I am terrible at him so generally I don’t clone him. His recommendations are good but there’s no point if u can’t play the hero’s, so go for someone you understand and know how to play.
