This is designed as a professional clipper and most groomers use blades instead of comb attachments. Every groomer has a preference as to the combs they used. BTW, always used a #30 blade under your combs. I have been professionally grooming for almost 50 years.
Great start to your channel, I bred and showed poodles for 20 years.

Thank you so much for this feedback! This is note worthy! Any ideas on where to shop for the blades or any brands you’d recommend?

I learned to use a #15 under guards on shih tzus or similar mixes with soft hair that never seems to make me happy without wasting so much extra time...that 15 under the guards made it perfect. I think it was a class Jonathan David was teaching at APF in 2013 or 2014 and that and the quick demo he did at a booth on yorkie faces were my 2 new OMG GAME CHANGERS when we got home and back to work

Libra here too soooo I know the struggle. I'm also a groomer and will research everything til my eyes bleed but I've learned so much good and bad. Side note every pair of clippers I own that came with their "comb attachments" either are in a box somewhere or went in the trash. They are a waste in my professional opinion. I prefer metal Combs and I do a lot of doodles long and flufy and can't be wasting time or money on cheap, weak clippers, crappy blades or guards and most importantly I use the BEST brushes by Les pooch. I want the clippers you have because I get a lot of feedback from groomers who groom like I do and they swear I'll love them but they've sat in my online cart for the last year. Hopefully next year I can make them happen

So far I like them. I need to invest in some more blades for it. I also need to find some good sheers!

@XDesignerBreeds ok for good quality shears that aren't ridiculously expensive...don't get me wrong I have acquired quite a few pair of Kenchii shears but I have only bought shears from Foxy Roxy for the last 2 or 3 years. You can buy individually but they have a monthly sheer club and then will get to try a variety. Also if you are part of the scissor of the month club and they will do random pop up sales like any 3 for $149 or 2 for $99 I always try to get a new one I've been pining over or I'll pick up duplicate of the ones I already have absolutely love. They also carry good quality blades and attachment comes. Regular width and wide but if you're doing little ones then you can probably live without the wide ones. Also I like Artero blades. I tend to primarily order everything from Foxy Roxy and Groomers Mall or Mart? They changed in the last year or 2 and some things still show both names regardless they are top notch in the industry. I'm not sure what kind of shampoos, conditioners and products you use but I think igroom is amazing. Especially the Prebiotic line. Normally I order it from groomers mall because they get orders shipped I swear before you even thought about starting an order lol But igroom occasionally has specials on their website

Kenchii or Chris Christensen? Do you recommend either or? Also, for the curves with both thumb rest- does that mean they are interchangeable and can be used either left or right as opposed to the ones with only one thumb rest? I’m curious

Have used heiniger saphir and opal and honestly can say the opal is alot quieter than the saphir and thinner in the hand. Normally use the wahl guards at work but have the heiniger guards myself and they are better quality than the wahl. Easy to fix and service yourself aswell.

WAHL Clippers do not come with Comb Attachments either .... It's not really a review .. You're not showing the Clippers in Use. on a Pet. to form an Opinion

This isn't me trying to be hateful but I will use it as a perfect example of ignorance.
You paid a fortune (the highest price) for the "not best clipper". Your rationale for it was "I'm a Libra" or whatever star sign (which is a joke for logic to begin with) and that you were going through lots of clippers as A BREEDER!
You are asking the wrong questions and valuing the wrong things. A 2nd battery is nice but it's main purpose is not continuous use by switching the battery out because over 2 years the motor will die WELL BEFORE the batteries lose consistency. The blades will also heat up well before the 2 x 4 hour batteries are exhausted.
TLDR, it's a great clipper but overpriced for what you ACTUALLY desire as a groomer. It's something you would love as a gift but can get better as personal purchase.
You need to know all the ins and outs if grooming to make the informed choices. Remember, the most expensive is rarely the best product or the best choice at an individual level.

Yes, the name is problematic lol. That is the only issue with the clipper I can come up with.

Do you still think the site you used is the best place to purchase them? I've been already pretty convinced on buying the Opals for a good while now but finding a US supplier is so difficult 😭 I've never heard of PBS Animal Health before but I';m pleasantly surprised that they carry the 2 battery version for so cheap! Did you have a good experience with them?
