This is the second consecutive that watching your video has given me insight, This time it's not so much about specific characters or TV series but an understanding of why certain British films had/have a distinctive look and the origin of that look. On a personal note; I rather like the style and quite easily can see myself mimicking look while strolling on 10 miles walks into the deep country which I am known for doing. Thank you again.

Glad you are enjoying the videos and like the style in this particular video. Whilst it is a more historical view of what I would have seen in my youth, I agree with you it could still be used today to great effect. In fact I mentioned how this particular look is become fashionable again 🙂

Firstly, congratulations on achieving 2,000 subscribers - double what it was just four months ago. Well done! 👏Thank you for yet another original take on a period style dress code which, to my eye, would not look out of place at the annual Cheltenham Festival. It’s also delightful to see Greco participating in your videos.
In my opinion, the two green ties go best with your tweed suit. The bottle green tie at the start, with its muted pattern, and perfectly colour co-ordinated pocket square, absolutely nails it for me. The burgundy tie certainly works and the white pocket square complements the white shirt. The golden yellow tie just looks a little too bright for a suit with brown and green notes in its weave although the yellow pocket square is definitely a redeeming feature.👍 The brown and blue striped tie comes across as too busy when paired with the suit's check pattern even though the brown in the tie chimes with the brown in the suit weave. In all fairness, the whole purpose of this video is to illustrate how we might today replicate the essence of the market town `look’ from a bygone era with the additional benefit of a little alternative colour experimentation. In that you have admirably succeeded.😊
P.S. I have sent you an email.

Hi John, thank you for your great comments, it is amazing to see the channel grow so quickly of late and thank you for your continued support👍I totally agree with your feedback on particular looks I recreated for the video. The looks I created were genuinely like the looks I saw in the past. Greco loved his time out and the video was shoot in part, in the market town near where I grow up to get as authentic feel as possible. I think that the looks created stand the test of time and as you said, would not look out of place at the annual Cheltenham Festival, Newmarket or similar place. I regularly wear this type of look and get good comments and feedback about the look.
This type of suit is making a comeback at the moment 🙂 The next video is looking at the City look, based upon the look in the city business areas in the 60's, I'd be interested in your feedback 🙂, again it is based upon my observations back in the day. Glad you enjoyed the video and once again thank you for your ongoing support👍
