Hello rachell. My fiancé and I love your moveable island. We’d like to know more about it. The specifications on the rollers n such.
I believe there are 5 rollers on the bottom of our moveable island, 4 on each side, 1 in the middle to support the weight. For the carpentry, we have it built the same as our kitchen set up so it flushes neatly when not used. :)
Jiayou, like your videos so far and Rachel n Shaun you both are great partners. I noticed that your floor and walls joints does not have skirtings, any reason why? It's not typical.

I own a corridor hdb , 4room, all by myself and I insist not to renovate anything until I get the true layout.. and like a finally, I saw what I want from your video. But.. dining table still being a pain in the ass to be placed.

Hello! The renovation cost is around 50k including rewiring and carpentry!
50k for all the tiling hacking works... Idea of the ID carpentry.... Ahh is abt 50k....
Hi, for the mayer hood, is it easy to clean away the oil and stain?
Yes! it's very easy to clean up the hood. There is actually a detachable oil tray so you can take it out to wash it. The 2 filters can easily be removed and cleaned too!

our home is around 900 sq ft. :)

We like it simple and we are lazy, so we make sure the design is suitable for our lifestyles.

Hello! Our ID brought us to a store in SG with a lot of different lightings and we chose that! 😆 maybe can find similar ones on Taobao or ezhome (we just did a video on this) if you’re not in a hurry to receive it! Should be a lot cheaper too!

It's very worth it, we don't have to scoop the litter everyday because of it. There is no lingering smell because there's a charcoal filter in the drawer compartment. :)
Great house! How do you keep it looking like new in the long run? Do you hire cleaners?
Hello! nothing really changes as of now, we do decorate it up a little. We have 2 robot vacuum and it does a great job keeping the place clean! No cleaners!

Hi @Rachell Tan did u take a renovation loan and furniture loan, or did you jus saved up all of the money on your own before embarking on reno and furniture purchase? :)
As my husband and I are already taking a loan for our car, we didn’t want to take up much loans, so we had to fork out cash for our furniture and reno. Very Chor and painful, but we did a simple ROM and didn’t do a wedding banquet (heng, cause in the end had all of the restrictions) so we managed to use the funds for our home instead ☺️

@@syedibrahim6991 no issues so far with the rolling! One improvement I’d love (if possible) though, would be a stopper 😆 currently we use a doorstopper if we want it to be in place and not shift around when we’re using it. So maybe you can ask your ID when manufacturing this movable island ☺️
