Such a great fucking game too its so open ended with the different friendships you can make. Makes you regret neglecting ekei and realising he is the best partner you can have
The intro is genius and pure cinema. It gave me an idea how brutal and overpowered the adversary is while firing me up to go against the insane low odds to dish out some justice. At the same time, it manages to immerse me into the world around that tragedy. Actually, I am so fired up, I want to play this game again!
I could listen to the music all day. This was my first one. They need to continue w/the remasters. Onimusha was a series that got better as more entries were released.
In the last shot with the main character running through the forest, you can really see how the upscaling algorithm doesn't properly handle the contrast, cause the dynamics are way off. With that said, and this is important, cause the above is only meant as an opportunity for improvement - more than anything, I really appreciate you taking the time to create and upload this.
You have done the job that Capcom will never do! I am honored to see my favorite images beautifully presented with modern technology. I am happy, thank you!
Imagine an Onimusha remake with the gameplay style of Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake. The remaster was good but it was just the old game with new graphics
My biggest gripe with Capcom is that they didn't just go ahead and remaster the entire series in one collection. I pre-ordered the Oni 1 Remaster and picked it up as a Day One but when Capcom decided to wait and see how that did, I knew the other three weren't coming because Capcom loves to set impossibly high sales goals so they can get out of doing shit that's not Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, or Street Fighter. Not talking bad about those franchises, I just wish Onimusha had the same amount of love from them.
Onimusha 2 onimusha 3 onimusha dawn of dreams were my all time favorite games.. the puzzles annoyed tf out of me but built character lol todays game puzzles are a fucking cake walk lol
You can but it could not be easy at all,you have to change the file associated to the intro with this one and you have to find a way to convert it correctly and put it into the ISO so the game plays it. If you really want to do it remember that the quality will not be the same as you see from RUclips.
The game is already old enough (2001/2002 circa) so it's already hard to play it if you don't have a PS2 or an emulator with the disc or the ISO of this game. Also sometlmes a remaster add content and upscale everything correctly + the controls and audio quality could be improved. There are plenty of remasters well done but if you dislike them all it's understandable, the only problem is that Capcom is not planning a remaster of this after the poor sales of the first one. This game, together with Onimusha 3 and 4,was much better and more popular than the first one,it's a shame to let it abandoned in an old era.
You must've used the 'Purify Charm' to dispel the PS2 evil surrounding this. Onimusha 2, once a ghost in the dark realm, to Upscale: 'How dare you disturb our time... ... together!'
this game was so underrated, really incredible for the time - hope capcom bless us with a beautiful remastered version
The fucking music in this trailer, man.
Such a great fucking game too its so open ended with the different friendships you can make. Makes you regret neglecting ekei and realising he is the best partner you can have
Indeed. The trailer really got me hyped for the game. Each of the characters stuck with me after all these years. Just such a memorable game!
I would love to see onimusha 2 remade entirely with 4k. This gives me so much hope, thank you so much
Apperently there is a new Onimusha game in the works as there was a leak of capcom's future projects, Im hyped and cannot wait for that
@@I-Want-The-Truth yea, I saw that too, and an RE game centered around hunk in 2024. But nothing is confirmed yet, so I hesitate to get hyped
@@bevans224 they better not make it a modern day adaption, they need to make it around the sengoku jidai period again
Crapcom would butcher it
One of my favorite opening of all time. Really missed Onimusha 2 on PS2.
Fun fact: You looked this video up
Always gets me emotional. Great intro

You are a man of culture, my friend.

Please tell me I can integrate this to my PAL Onimusha two through an emulator

I don't really like remasters unless its been so long its the only way for me to play that really old game

KINO
UP scale is only upscale it does not make a big difference.
its all magnificent but why use eng dub, sounds a bit lame
Looks amazing! Please do more 8 k stuff.
There are not as many upscale artifacts as usually.
