Great review! I have the exact same three boxes and really enjoy the Eagle’s Nest map. Just finished an intense solo game in the Nest and won on the last turn after probably trying to be a bit too fine and missing a shot that led to taking on a few injuries and caused another miss. I LOVE the way you take items out (simulating a more confident shooter), when you miss and have to take a recoil or noise token it makes you think twice about how many to pull out next time.
The computer games are great... hence why it's got to 5 SE games along with the 4 Spin off Zombie games and a VR version. I'd advise SE 3 or 4 especially now at
Thx for the review! Two questions about the expansion: Without adjustments I found that base game already favored the sniper. Does this expansion help the Sniper too much? And isn't the outdoor map too big for the defenders to do well? Thx!
I haven't noticed an issue with the outdoor map, it's one of my favourites. I think the Sniper is still probably in favour, but I don't mind that, it's half the challenge.
Look forward to watching this. Quickly on you not having played the video games. Each game is very much new player friendly. You don't need to of played them all. 5 is on gamespass too so if have a PC or Xbox. I think 5 is the best personally but either 4 or 5 are a good start. Is some difference and 5 has more to it for sure but I know some do still prefer the maps and gameplay of 4. I love the video games and the board game was great fun in my view but not to much that needs more time than have or set up takes ages
That's a shame. 😔 However one thing I know about kickstarters exclusives. They have a habit of suddenly reappearing the next time an expansion campaign comes out...
@@TheBrokenMeeple Yeah, but they often don't sell them separately so a person who has bought the game already has to buy a second copy just for those pieces. Honestly, it's why I'm hesitant to buy this game and might just pass on it. It would annoy me too much to buy it, not have those better pieces, and end up in that situation. Edit: I see their website sells everything but, alas, they're sold out.
Mind MGMT is the gretest hidden mouvement/one versus many gme that I have play. Im looking foward to try Sniper Elite! You should really try Mind MGMT. With my game group we always manage to play 2 or 3 games in a hour and every body get a chance to be The Recruiter if you are a group of 3.
You definitely do not need to play through the videogames in order. I don't think I've played the first one, but I have played 2-4 and they were all fun. You can jump in at #4 without any issues. There is also zombie army which is the same, but with a zombie theme. Out of those, I've played all 4 and would mostly just recommend the 4th one, but only if playing in co-op.

Probably start at 4.
Thanks for the review Luke. Does look like a great game!

4 is only £4 so I'll likely grab that for ease.
"These tokens are fantastic and chunky and..." . and no longer available. "KIckstarter exclusives!!!", don'tcha love em?? No, I don't.

Would love that upgraded poker chip bag but they’re sold out!
Really? Aw that sucks.

If I see it I'll try it for sure.

Yeah probably only solo play in my case.
@@TheBrokenMeeple The regular sniper elite video games are still good solo. Start with #4 since it is still fairly new and also should be cheap.
Turczi, you can sleep now 😂
Mind MGMT's solo is done with an app
I would like to try that game eventually, just not a fan of the art style and theme.
@@TheBrokenMeeple That could be the answer to a good solo stealth version of Sniper Elite if someone did an App that controlled the defenders.
