Clear tokens go on the board at the start of the game for all possible objective spaces. Since you started on white, there should be a clear token on all numbered spaces in red, yellow and black.
I interpret "open access space" to mean an access space which its open (ie not enclosed). So defenders would move "outside" and guard the doors. For Objective #2, it is an unguarded open space, so the defender should be deployed directly atop of it. Those are my interpretation of the rules, but I have only played solo once. 20:50
The solo seems pretty interesting. As far as I know, there's only one other hidden movement game that's solo: black sonata. I feel like there was another one that used to be sold on the BGG store, but it's not there anymore. I think it was French, maybe. It had a man and a woman on the cover. It was evening on the box, and I remember blue and orange as the main colors. I think the logo was yellow. Do you know it? I could be completely off on the genre. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your review. I'm very interested in getting this for 2-3 players (mostly 2), but I also like solo. You weren't kidding about the first few turns being slow, lol. You only made it two squares out in 3-5 turns, lol
What about the placing of tracker tokens on objective spaces during setup?

Review goes up Thursday!
Are you referring to Maquis? But is solo, but it isn't hidden movement.
is there a max you can draw tokens? What if u take all tokens? Don't you make kills all the time?
If you draw 5 Noise and/or Recoil token you instantly miss, and the shot fails. Each Noise token that you draw moves a defender closer to your space.
