Do not use Stockpile after a ground pound however, because the enemy will be too close and you will miss. An uppercut works fine, however. -You can see in the video he does the tech where you miss the last bullet of soul fire to continue the combo. However, it’s much easier to just turn slightly to the side instead of a 180. This helps you make your combos faster, as turning around can leave you prone to attacks if they evasive dash. -The aerial variant of Stockpile (at the peak of your jump use Stockpile) flows extremely well into Focus Strike’s Black Flash, which can be a great alternative to close the distance without knocking them back with Soul Fire. -A common mistake for new players is to use Body Repel when you’re either A, too close to the player, or B, the player hasn’t used their evasive. In both cases, even if they’re ragdolled, your move can be cancelled and then they can combo you. Make sure to dash backwards then use it, which is the best practice (using Body Repel after a FS Black Flash is the best time to use it !) -If your enemy plays very defensively and waits for you, the best thing to do is the pre mentioned AV S into FS BF. If they play aggressively however, dashing backwards and using Soul Fire then Body Repel is a great way to punish them without putting yourself at risk. -A lot of new users try to use the specials a lot, but in reality they’re quite obsolete. The only real thing of value is the FS V if you switch to blades, but that can be easily blocked. -Body Repel can be the worst and best move in the kit if you use it right. It’s good to use it a distance from your opponent, but not too far, as it becomes easy to dodge. You can also (if you’re confident you’ve captured your open) tilt your camera 360 which will bring your enemy close to you for another combo, perhaps (FS BF and Stockpile work good here).
