Generator champion dual fuel 4500 . Can’t go wrong with it . I have one and I love it. And get dehumidifier would safe your interior and wood. Nice rig enjoy it and make lot of memories.
I came across your channel and subscribed. Nice rig and welcome to the RVing family! As others have said, slide out trays and storage bins are a life saver. I use the clear bins to see what's in them. I also typed and printed out in bold letters and taped the paper to the outside of each bin for a quick view of the contents. We keep our fridge and freezer drawer cracked with a box of baking soda inside for storage. Safe travels and we hope to catch you on the road someday!
When you turn power off to the fridge or put the RV in storage mode crack all the fridge & freezer doors to allow air flow. That will prevent the mold/moldy smell. Also I recommend several of Eva-dry E-333 dehumidifiers, they help with humidity and are easy to recharge by just pulling them in for 10-12 hrs.
I was scrolling & came across your channel. Appreciate your honesty asking for tips about the RV life, You are definitely in the right place . Far as organization of your basement, you may want to look into storage bins. Do your measurements to see which one's may work for you. Safe Travels & Happy Camping!! 🙏🏾✌🏾✊🏾👍🏾 New subscriber 🎊
@bltrvers9001 thanks! Glad you found us. We are definitely here to learn and teach. We're looking to purchase something on a slide system. Thanks for subbing. Same on the sub! 👍🏾
Consider using Damp Rid to pull the moisture from inside. You can do winter camping. You don't need water. Just select a campground that has heated showers. Spray all locks with 10 W40. Good luck.
Hey fam you should look into getting the Morryde slide tray for your passthru storage. It pulls out so you can store and organize. Check it out on youtube. As for the screen door you can get a shim for the frame side latch at any big box hardware store. The generator can be stored in the front storage, there is no issue at all with that.
I'll look into the slide tray for sure. That would be great to be able to just slide it. Like the door idea. As far as generator I guess I need to research which one will work for our setup and also fit underneath. Thanks fam! When yaw dropping a new vid?
Great RV use cotton balls in some containers and put per peppermint oil soak cotton balls i use this every year and go and top it off every month it work great against mice
Awesome setup, I know that you just can't wait to get back out there, what do tow that long rv with? If you get rid of the caftsman air pump and get a Viair RV450 you will save a little more room, and have you thought about for some of your stuff on getting some bend or they make those pull out tray will help also. Yeah, your 5th wheel is pretty long but it's very nice. As far as a generator is it already prep for one and if it is no problem having one installed there, theirs are a couple of good one you can get, but the one thing I want to ask do you guys boondock anytime, do you go to like on the beach or the sand dune but if you don't do that and just only to the campgrounds, or rv parks it's not a need for one.
@@OnTheBrinkOfGreatness Well then, getting a generator would be a good idea and if it is prep already you can take it to the dealer and they will installed it in for you.
For the storage area, separate the tools from everything else in case of emergency. Never stor gas near propane. A generator is good if you plan on boondocking. Enjoy.
Nice Video! New Subscriber. We look forward to following your journey with that sweet rig that you have. Although I don't have any answers to your specific questions, if any things come up that I can provide feedback, I will. I like to follow newer channels that are just getting started and it looks like you are off to a great start. We are kind of similar in that although we started our channel 2 years ago, we posted our first video (A Channel Trailer) about 1 month ago. I think you did a great job on this video and I will take a look at you other vids. Please feel free to visit us and provide some input. Take care and safe travels!

You always need a generator 😊

What kind of work do you guys do, if you don't mind ❓🤔
Yall the police😂😂😂
@JoePhantom-t3e lol. No we are educators.
@OnTheBrinkOfGreatness your husband look like a cop. What education, you guys are cool 🤟😎✨
There's no cameras in that place ❓🤔
@JoePhantom-t3e yes, but cameras don't always stop people from making poor choices these days.
