Ladies in the US, a similar base like she uses is called “4 in 1 nail gel glue” I haven’t been able to find the colored nail gel glue, yet. I love this technique for at home manicures. It last longer than press-ons for me, but quicker application than Acrylic ☺️

I love French nails and am always looking the achieve perfect French look, but I guess it has many perfections. This is definitely one! I would wear it to at home work to feel more professional, to the office/ corporate setting it's not too distractive. This is considered to be the professional length and look.

I'm so glad I found your channel. You are so through and explain step by step . I have a quick question what is the rubber base? Is it Gel ? Or a regular basecoat?
Thank you so much…Rubber base is basically base coat with a thicker viscosity.
@@nectanails that is to say the rubber basecoat is like glue right?
I wouldn’t say it’s glue, just that it works well to attach full cover tips. I’ve even seen other nail content creators use regular base coat to attach their tips…so it’s quite versatile but it’s not glue, it’s still marketed as base gel. I hope I’m making sense 🙂

Unfortunately I couldn’t get the link for the products but the company is called Maskscara and you can shop on line and they deliver all over South Africa.
The white I used is called “Malibu”
To attack the tips I used “Cover pink Rubber Base coat”
To etch the insides of the tips I used their “pro 10 bond”
Then “Non wipe Carbon top coat” to top everything off.

Lovely video and beautiful French nails. Be careful using alcohol directly on the plastic. It sometimes degrades and weakens it. You can also use a bit of non wipe top coat underneath just to keep free edge neat and clean.

Hi! Question, I don’t have the colored glue but I use clear glue to adhere and nude and white gel polish on top to achieve my French tips. Am I still able to buff like this afterwords? I want my nails to look sharp but I fear it’ll buff the Polish away..?
That is such a good question…I don’t think you’ll be able to without removing the colour unless u buff really gently. But give it a try and pls let me know how it goes 🙂💖

I honestly think that gel is better than glue, I’ve gone as far as 4 weeks with no issues. You should totally give it a try😊💗✨

How long does your nail polish last and how do you apply your nail polish to the other hand? As a right-handed person, I always have problems with my left hand.
I don’t really work with nail polish, I use gel polish and it lasts up to 4 weeks for me. Doing the other hand can be tricky but you just have to practice. I’ve linked a video of me doing my dominant hand below🙂

I sometimes use regular base gel it works really well. However you do have to hold the nail in place and cure in UV/LED lamp. 🙂💖

The rubber base is by “Maskscara” and they’re a South African company. If you’re going to use the rubber base then yes you’re going to need the lamp….but you can totally use glue if you don’t have a lamp
I’ve been trying soooo many ways to extend my nails…builder gel, poly gel, and now tips..the first two I’m having so much trouble with. I tried applying full cover tops like the ones you show here using builder gel and they popped off the same night. I know I can’t purchase the same brand you have but what is it please? You called it rubber I think? I’d love to buy the right type of product. Nail glue is so tough to work with. Thank you!! Your natural nails are beautiful too!!
