nice my friend. really nice soundtrack and interesting instruments. very cool that you can record so beautifully and out in a remote setting. you really should do a walk thru of how you do your videos and the gear you use.
thank you! i plan to make a video like that very soon. i've been working with limited time each week (i have a 2 yr-old son who is the best and keeps me busy!) BUT I have found a workflow I like for talking-head style videos (after trying a couple of things that didn't pan out), so I will start throwing that type of content into the mix shortly. Perfectionism is a formidable enemy!
Thank you! It’s a mixed bag. The instruments are all one take recorded directly into a field recorder for the music. Most of the bird sounds were from the hike in various places. You can see Pulzwav carrying a shotgun microphone and occasionally aiming it into the trees. Sometimes I can get a clean recording of the nature around us as we play, but sometimes the nature sounds are better from other sections of the hike.
