6 years later, this video still came in handy! I had no idea how to set this water wheel up, so I was thrilled to find your video tutorial. My water wheel is now working perfectly! You provided step-by-step easy instructions. And, I appreciate you kept in mind the aethestics, so it looks nice too!
(well 3 years late on this xD) I think this video is the best one of what I've found before I dive into making this. I think the glass helps you see exactly how it's built/functions what a great idea. Also, your English was very easy to understand. I'm thrilled to learn I only need these basic parts. A lot of videos I saw had a lot of aesthetic pieces of treated wood to make it "look nice" on the base and structure. Whereas, I just want the water wheels for the functionality. So thanks for that! :D
Your English wasn't bad at all mate. You actually demonstrated the tutorial better than most people who use English as their main language lol. Cheers for you video, left a like. Was very easy to follow. Again, way better than any other vid I have watched.
as I just discovered: you can boost the output from 88 to 96 rf/t when you use something that floats upwards on the side the wheel comes up again - like energized glowstone, steam, the new bc fuel stuff - so you end up and having all party covered by moving liquid - but it required at least one additional mod provide such a lighter-than-air liquid/gas (as gases are also fluids) - not possible with only IE itself (maybe in the future if it implements maybe steam itself like the add-on mod Immersive Tech - wich adds steam (a diesel fueled boiler and a solar tower) along with a turbine + generator))
Excellent tutorial. Just confirming that this is still relevant/accurate as of 09/16/16 for FTB Infinity Evolved Expert Mode. I did read that if, after you get this all set up, that you're not getting the full 88RF/tic, remove the three wheels off the dynamo, and then put them back on; it sort of resets it. It might be a good idea to do that anyway. It shouldn't affect the water blocks/setup at all.
A very well done tutorial. Thank you. I understood it clearly and didn't have a single problem following your instructions. Thank you for taking the time to explain it. I didn't know one end of the water wheel from the other so I always went with other energy sources. This was fun. :)
Not yet have I got the water wheel to work.. Well not until today after watching GGSoundjack's tutorial. BTW TY GG. I now have a working waterwheel. English is very good by the way and this is coming from a English woman. Keep up the good work GG.
Hey buddy, listen, i watched your tutorial, it was extremely instructive, simple, easy to follow, and as an American, you have a very nice accent. I watched the video thinking you were at least I the 50,000 sub range, i thought, this is great, they need this guy on hermitcraft or foolcraft, i went down to the suggested videos thinking i need to watch more, and i saw you are not well known and it bothered me. So hopefully you read this, please make more of these types of instructional, "how to build" "how to utilize" videos, in English, because i would watch...them..all, and i know other people would to
Great video my man! However, I was wondering why the second waterwheel you made in this video was going slower than the one behind it. The water wheel I made myself also went about as fast as that one. Is there any reason behind this or is the speed of the wheel just random?
It still works, but it says 0RF in the dynamo, altough it is generating power. I placed a charging station at the free side of the dynamo and it started powering up. Dont know why it says ORF on the dynamo screen. TY for the vid!
If you look carefully he says it's 9 long, but then if you do the base like he does it it is actually 10 long, I found out when I checked the "4 long hole" it was only 3 wide. Maybe when he did the width he added an extra to the end D:
U are welcome :) Also try the solar panels, since the capacitor bank holds 500.000.000 RF it is fine to use them, best thing would be a LPG Fluid cow with a ranger and a high tempature generator :)
Great video man ! it is a great source of energy if you actually think about it : you dont need to service it ,you dont need to power it >> FREE ENERGY ! :D
No that is not working. When u have ur setup with 3 wheels and connect a dynamo on both sides, 1 wheel connect to one dynamo and the other 2 to the other dynamo. But u cant run 2 on one wheel in the 1.7 Minecraft
Your English is very clear, much appreciation SoundJack
thank u very much :)
i agree. very clear. very helpful. im glad you made it cus i don't speak german :D

i have watched this video 10 times in 2 years. every time i want to build a water wheel i come here. its the best video
Thx
@@GGSoundjack wow you still look at this video's comments? nice job
@@tunis4 not at all but sometimes i realise that somebody wrote something :D

It is very refreshing to come across such a clear and concise video. I appreciate you breaking the mod down into a single part.
thank you good Sit
this is very well made. ive never seen the water wheel move so fast
Thank you. This will make future playthroughs of Forever Stranded infinitely better
Had a hard time figuring out the part with the dynamo, for some reason. Watching this cleared it up. Thanks for the guide. :)
I watched 16 videos before this and this is the one that did it right. thank you

Excellent tutorial. I tend to reference it whenever I build a waterwheel after a long pause in playing!
You speak English very well and I found this very helpful thank you.

i love this video. watched it so many times over the years lol.

This is an excellent tutorial. Thank you very much for sharing it.

Very great guide, you were very clear on what to do and explained things very well, thank you!
thank you very much :)
you're English is really good bro don't worry
3 Years later and i still come back to this video. I cant like it again peepoSad
i really appriciate that :)
"To the right we need the water" I loved that sentence xD

Very helpful, if you could also do these tutorial for other immersive engineering multiblocks that would be great.
tell me what u need and i'll do it today :)
Not anything specific but there are all the multi blocks and the other power generator thingy. Thanks for responding so quick :)
+Hero ok i'll do 1 or 2 later today :)
Thank you, this was a huge help! Also, your English was great! I had no troubles understanding you.
Thank you so much
What texture pack is this
Thanks GGSoundJack! Exactly what I was looking for in a video, English was very good, by the way!
u are welcome :)
That accent is cool and nice tutorial u just earned a sub!
how come the other one seems to go faster than the one you made
Thats a optic bug, when u reload the game or the chunk they are same fast :)
Extremely useful tutorial!Your english was perfect, thanks a lot!
i cant get it to generate energy please help me
I need help with the kinetic dynamo,
it doesn't produce rf and it's exactly like on screen
u need to put down the dynamo first and then click the wheels on the dynamo. try that and tell me if this fixed it
Did you fix it?
Redid this 3 times now, max output I can get is 68IF, I am guessing something changed when they revamped water flow. Still great though!
Followed this exactly and its only getting 86RF, infinity evolved, latest release
Great video I wanted to make some of these for my infinity series.
has water wheels changed since this was made? im only getting 64 RF a tick
not that i know. but i will check it when i am bavk from holiday
richard jackson lucky you, I'm only getting an average of 25 made exactly the same an I reset it but it made it worse 😅
nice video, it was easy to follow along.
Can I use another energy storage like Batbox from IC2 or something like that from other mod? Because I don't have EnderIO :(
yeah that should work normaly. immersive itself has a own storage as well
at 4:06 the water flows the other way for me ??
for me it looks right :) important is that it flows away from the wheel on the bottom :)
No what i meant was i can't replicate this design, in my single player world it flows towards the wheel.
+Maltebyte2 hmm did u clicked on the stone underneath the wheel? thats where i click and for me and everybody else it works this way :/
does this only work for 3wheels? i only made a 2wheel design thinking it would also work.
+Maltebyte2 it works with 1-3 wheels. my design here is just the maximum output version
whats calling mod?
Thank you very much for the English. I had no problem understanding you.
Did they changes this i cant seem to get it working in Sky factory 3
no still works the same way, i played SF3 my self and all was fine
If you look carefully he says it's 9 long, but then if you do the base like he does it it is actually 10 long, I found out when I checked the "4 long hole" it was only 3 wide. Maybe when he did the width he added an extra to the end D:
what texture pack is that
thanks i like the look of the stone so i was wondering which one it is and does it work for 1.7.10 direwolf
yes should work :)
Can i use capacitator not vibrant
sure u can
@@GGSoundjack Ok thx keep the goodwork man
What Is that Texture pack?!
Thank you so much! I now have an OP power source in PO2 Kappa Mode :)
U are welcome :) Also try the solar panels, since the capacitor bank holds 500.000.000 RF it is fine to use them, best thing would be a LPG Fluid cow with a ranger and a high tempature generator :)
The bad thing about solar panels is that they aren't so reliable because almost every night is Blood Moon.
but the energy banks hold so much, just make 5 of them and let solar panels do there work, more then enough energy for the night :)
Tysm! It works.
Very helpful!! Thanks so much!
Your English was very good!
This is a great video but the borderless glass makes it really hard for me to count the blocks and just pause it and build.
i wiĺl do it better next time
Great video man !
it is a great source of energy if you actually think about it : you dont need to service it ,you dont need to power it >> FREE ENERGY !

Thank you very much for this.
So helpful, thank you!
thanks. Great tutorial
Here u can see my next tutorial to the max output for the thermoelectric generators ruclips.net/video/Ib2NxVMZJbQ/видео.html
dude your a legend!
i am just the everyday normal guy :D
Just a tip, you can have 2 dynamos on 1 wheel, so you can have 176 RF/t
No that is not working. When u have ur setup with 3 wheels and connect a dynamo on both sides, 1 wheel connect to one dynamo and the other 2 to the other dynamo. But u cant run 2 on one wheel in the 1.7 Minecraft
Glass, more like bordered air
Very good, thank you
I'd give 2 likes if I could, thanks for the help mate
I generate only 75 RF :/
Check out my brand new tutorial: ruclips.net/video/JswXgNzm2P8/видео.html
Thenks
I guess more then 3 wheels is wasting energy?
U can just connect 1-3 wheels with one dynamo. More are simple not connecting
just in case anyone did what i did, make sure you are placing your water wheel onto the dynamo, not the oposite glass/wall #fail
The Gaming Otaku rofl u are a special snowflake, arent you? :D
although i don't like the term, I imagine you don't understand the current connotations of it, so yes i suppose I am.
This is enought stupid to become stupid, but it's working
.
it was thank you vary much
Time to make 100 because they are alot better than ender io photovoltaic cells
I love your accent !!! :)
perfect
Very helpful video Thanks! :D and also dynamo its pronounced: dai-namo. just some friendly advice :P
ohhh ok thank you :)
Man man man sofort erkannt das du Deutscher bist XD
Gott sei dank bin ich aber Österreicher :p
verdammt... ehm Bergdeutscher XD
Also, the English is very fluent.
hahaha wow 888 rf/tick warum 88???
Das musst du die Modhersteller fragen, das weis ich nicht. Das ist halt das maximum was geht
its prenounced di-na-mo not de-na-mo
ill try to remember that :)
He's pronouncing it like "ü" because that's how you pronounce "y" in German when it's not at the beginning or end of a word.
wotor 😂😂
sorry
