Love what you said about workflows changing within the same project! Sometimes they even change within the same shot. I might do one character layered and another pose to pose even though they're on screen together.
Sometimes I also like to animate in whatever workflow seems the least appropriate for the shot. Helps to keep my eyes and mind fresh, especially if I've been animating similar shots for a while.
Thanks man, and that’s a great point, deliberately trying to do it in a ‘wrong’/different way often leads to the biggest discoveries. Hope you’re doing well man! Miss working with you.
I wish this video came out a year ago before I realized this the hard way xD Golden advice!
Glad to hear its helpful! Sorry to hear its late for your situation haha, but better late than never?
@@AnimatorsJourney definitely 😁
Great advise 👍
Thanks man!!
Whats more in the industry like I have seen a lot of motion capture games and movies now a days. Except some other big studios like pixar and disney. Does keyframe animatiors still have market ?
If you can't keyframe animate, you won't make it as an animator, that's what we are expected to know how to do, even at places that mocap, you're still animating.
@@AnimatorsJourney Thanks, I wanted to ask that if I want you to be my mentor then what steps should I take to be your student ?
