i rather buy rbs20 which is about same price as this and has 2 extra ethernet plugs with 500 sq feet extra range and its compatible with most orbi systems out there.
I have mine set up all my equipment is running on orbi. But it will not recognize it on my cell phone in order to use the app. My wifi on my cell is connected to Orbi. I can't figure it out. Any ideas?
Netgear makes great hardware but they really suck at software releases on time and customer service is crap.. I bought one of those few months and returned it coz performance wasn’t stable at all during that time and I returned it.. I recently bought it again and this time it works great like super fast.. they might have finally release a stable update or something i guess. For those wondering, I am using this with my rbk50 router in the middle, rbs50 satellite near my garage and this in my master room which is near my backyard.
stanley hubbard Yes it can!! I added two rbs40 satellites to my rbr50 router or in other words ac3000 and ac2200👍👍👌. They were all meant to work together and man, do they work😀

Just added this! Same story, lights up blue for a few minutes then can’t find the connection. So strange.
Any ideas?
may sound like a dumb question....but can this ac2200 product sync with the ac3000 orbi router?

There does not seem to be a way just to buy this add on unit separately.
