She's just a normal person in an abnormal industry. I don't think she's ever been impressed by fame or money. She seems to know what matters and I like that. People think she's mysterious but I think she's just got a head screwed on firmly to her neck and she doesn't buy or produce the show business hype.
Truth. At the very beginning of the clip, the narration mentions Sade felt "Plagued by excessive media attention". Not something many performers try to avoid.
@@AlBarbosa with all due respect sister, looking up to celebrities is so 1980s. They're just normal people who go to the toilet and make the air stink just as bad as you and I.
I grew up hearing her voice and loving it. When I first saw her, I fell in love with her image. And now as she speaks I love her soul. Beautiful woman !!
They don't make women like this anymore. If they do exist they are a rare find one in a million. Feminine, fit, cool, confident and natural. God bless her forever 🙏.
Beautiful person outside & possibly more beautiful on the inside... I understand the feeling of being pried on & wanting to answer questions honestly as an artist & people wanting to get to "know" you more through these kinds of processes... I kind of see why she's chosen to stay reclusive from the limelight. I really admire how she stays composed even through those awkward questions (that's Hollywood for you) You have to expect that with such "intimate" music comes "intimate" lives & those people are the ones who really value their privacy, especially their love life. Respect to the queen
Thank you for this Love Deluxe era golden interview. Sade has a true Relaxed Royal air about her. Absolutely elegant, wise and supremely beautiful & the album is timeless (my 2nd favorite album of all time).
the journalist was rly pushing it i feel... but why tho. like she was attacking her with so many personal questions, but the way sade just delivered everything with so much grace. so much self awareness. queen.
Perfect! If the journalist didn't push the interview wouldn't be so good and we would not be able to know Sade so well. Great job from the 2, otherwise this was not so quality material as it is
Yeah, I thought I was the only one who found her ignorant and her questions inappropriate and even stupid at times....Also, what kind of journalist is this, she was very uninformed

You probably have a fairly regular normal day to day life? 'Not really. But I never had. I don't think that's anything to do with my fame. I think some people are just sort of chosen to be.. to have a fairly adventureful life. Ever since I was young lots of things have always happened to me. It's not really a tranquil calm life that I have. I don't think it has to do with me being famous. It's just I was the one picked to have the trouble, the excitment.' ♥️

How is this a waste of her time? it was literally an amazing interview and she asked very interesting and engaging questions. Didn’t seem like the questions were all that either. She didn’t seem to break any boundaries and it just seems like a very well constructed interview.
She’s so soulful and wise! I will always love Sade
The most sensual person I’ve ever seen. Musical genius!

Sade is definitely a beacon of light in an industry that can be filled with a lot of darkness. Few artists can bring what Sade so masterfully does.
True. Now that abnormal behavior has leaked into everyday life and everyone can chase attention..NoW I can be star 😵💫🤩

dude journalism back then had no boundaries- interviewers were sooo invasive.
sade was still hurting by love leave her be 19:08
She don't even know how to pronounce Sade's name
Still this way
At all!
her and her band’s music is a comfort to me. her voice gives the music a completely unique and mellow feel. every time i listen to it i feel calm.

Interviewer was overwhelmed by Sade beauty and elegance. You could sense the unease in her persona
She looks so pretty and Angelic here. She looks clean I like that she keeps her look consistent Natrual make-up,simple Hairstyles and simple outfits.
So much elegance and class. True beauty and talent.
She is so beautiful, sweet, funny, and talented.
dis industry so wicked i adore how patient n precautious she was wit answerin each question
She is absolutely gorgeous
Ever since I was a young man I was instantly drawn to Sade, I didn't even like her kind of music but the second I heard her and her band I was hooked!
My first time seeing this interview I'm an 90s I was born 1992 I grew up listening to Sade 🇬🇧🇳🇬
Her voice goes with her face ❤❤❤

@@axl8653 I don't agree she's doing her work
It’s the look in her eyes, like she’s looking for Sades weak spots yet has an admiration for her at the same time ..

i don’t particularly like the way she’s being interviewed 😭 it’s like they picking at her
The interviewer is getting on my nerves with her ignorance!

Sade is amazing. That interviewer was awful. My goodness 🤦♂️
I’m sure I’m not the first one to point this out but 3:35 is a great example of how to not back down to an oppressive forkin lil shirt.

How can you have such an interesting artist & ask about make up, shopping & house renovations? 🤦🏽
This is E magazine not Arté ...
thats a basic girl trying to figure out an angelic woman
She also asked about love, marriage, struggling with celebrity. This is E. In the 90's. We're you expecting Charlie Rose?
