Congrats to this adorable couple. I love this bus! It's clean and simple, yet very functional. I especially love the hinged coffee table @10:20. What a fantastic idea!
If they stay in a warm climate I'd say they've got a great budget and situation, but I noticed no insulation on the roof (possibly walls, too) Conversions get pricier when you've got to heat yourself to stay alive!
@@TheWorldofRobbie Still if it gets too cold they can always just drive down south. It's the great thing about RV life. The only trick is having stable income or savings.
For the budget they have; and how clean it looks, this couple made a really practical $300,000 apartment on wheels and they can go anywhere they want, and off grid? It's a win-win. Smart move.👍
My favourite part of this video is when the husband was talking about how he makes coffee every morning and breakfast at least every other morning for his wife. What a wonderful husband! I love seeing/hearing when a husband is attentive to his wife, how beautiful.
Y'all did an incredible job on _Cecilia._ Whenever you're in the Atlanta area, you have an open invitation to come to our shop to tackle projects large or small. We have everything you'd ever need to work on her. Atlanta Auto Diesel is even just a few doors up from us in case you need any engine work done. You can park here with full electrical, and we have clean, secure restrooms and a shower. Lastly, Fort Yargo State Park is less than 10 minutes away with miles and miles of mountain bike trails, a big beautiful lake, camping/RV spots, yurts and cabins. There's never a charge to you for my time to either do something for you or with you. You only need to buy the materials and Home Depot is also less than 10 minutes away.

This has to be my most favorite conversion. It has a great smooth layout. Looks like is very open so you don’t feel closed in. Thank you so much for sharing a look at you home. Safe travels😎
@Aika Papa Yes times have indeed changed where women have abandoned all assumed gender roles but men are still expected to fulfill theirs which is anything but equality.
Quite easily one of the best bus builds I've seen. In fact, this one probably tops them all. There were so many great things about this design i loved, including stashing the electronics behind the couch which would be normally unused space, but also keeping them accessible for general maintenance, etc. The corner shelving in the shower/toilet wet room was also pretty nice. I never considered a short bus for lack of space, but this is a design I would personally be comfortable with. I would add a lagoon table at the couch for working from the laptop though.
That's one thing I would like, too. My favorite short skoolie so far is Valerie, ruclips.net/video/Z-pfiygpthQ/видео.html, but this is my second favorite. And Cecilia has a clean look that Valerie, for all the quirkiness and character that I like, lacks. But, to each his/her/their own!
Thank you from the wife and I. We’re working on our 30th year, so congrats to you guys. Love your build. Love, love it. We’re looking for practically the same thing you have but just for vacations/weekends till we sell our business and then, we’ll, who knows maybe another 30 years touring. Cheers, from Canada.
What an absolute gem of a travel cabin this is, the interior is light, bright and airy and the uncluttered counter space is superb as is that fantastic, restored cooker and your clever, counter top, vintage reworked sink. Drawers make so much sense in a travel cabin and these were well placed and of a good size. Nice cupboard unit too. The top opening 12v fridge on slide out drawer runners doing double duty as an extrs guest seat is particularly cool and hugely practical. Very neat and discreet clothes storage leads to the wonderfully light and clean shower and cassette toilet. Lovely bed with adjacent, brilliant coffee table type opening lid that reverts to a breakfast table to encourage one's sleepy wife awake is such a great touch. Gorgeous couch/guest bed, which looks exquisitely comfy and a great place to be awake or asleep. Your bus is a great size, and it still looks proportional with your fantastic rear deck/scooter storage and the roof deck is really spacious and special, and would be my first choice of location to chill, eat, appreciate one's surroundings and being in nature. Good solar bank too. This travel cabin has superb ergonomics, the loveliest open, airy, uncluttered feel and a kitchen to die for. I've never seen anything so utterly perfect and beautifully constructed to a very high standard as this, and I consider it to be absolutely perfect and something that I could live happily in. This is due to the beautiful, inspirational, creative and skilled owners/builders/liveaboards whom envisaged their perfect travel cabin and turned their dream into this beautiful reality! I’ve watched hundreds of converted buses and this has got to be my favorite. It has EVERYTHING that I would have had in my bus if I ever did a conversion. (Maybe not everything, I would cut the couch in half to make a office/table area) but this bus is amazing
This is one of the best van conventions. 😊 Looks amazing, well planned out & beautifully decorated WITH a bathroom (smart wife for put her foot down & smart husband for being so kind to his wife & building the bathroom and for making coffeeeee & pancakes for breakfast!! ☕️☕️) wow he’s keeper. Having a bathroom in a tiny bus is a great resale value and most importantly the only way to travel.
I love the book you have under your desk. That's the sweetest thing to hear you make your wife coffee in the morning 🌞! May God be with you and protect you during your journey!
You guys have got a great start. Keep on making your lovely wife breakfast everyday. That's a good way to stay happy. You've a lovely house. I wish you both a wonderful life together. Stay happy and healthy.
I am not easily impressed and I usually don't comment, "BUT".. WoW!!! You guys did a great job! It's an incredible space! The floor plan that you chose makes the space look so big. :)
Congrats to the newlyweds and their excellent conversion!!! If I may, I offer a bit of advice about the sink. Sand down the underside of the basin with a fine grit sandpaper and the countertop where it connects. Then go to an autobody supply and buy some tack rags & some "Duramix". (It's a self mixing two part tube.) Make sure you get the semi rigid type and apply it to the bottom of the basin and the part of the countertop it will connect to; after you've rubbed them both down with the tack rags (to get all the dust and extra bits of debris off)... let it cure (doesn't take long) and I doubt you'll ever have a problem with it breaking loose again. Cheers!!! 😘
I absolutely love it when I see young kids or should I say young adults with so much craftsmanship ability. You should be very proud of yourself what a beautiful build and a wife that knows how to save money
I've watch a million tiny home builds & Van conversions..This by far is one of the best, Beautiful van builds! Keep spoiling your wife and Happy camping! Thanks for the Look-see....Cheers .
Love this bus so light and airy. Most people use to dark of colors. Love the room to move around. And a great bathroom. Very clever ideas they used. And buying used items is the best idea so few do that.
Thankyou for actually telling us what it cost! I don't know if I'm the only one that think "I wonder how much that cost" so thankyou for sharing this information. Love the conversion you both done! It looks awesome 👌😊😁 xx
Love this bus. Completely finished, nothing seems half done. Clean, bright and fabulous use of space. Congratulations 🎉 to this cute couple. Would love to see more of them. $8k is impressive. 🌟
That’s so cool it was your wedding get away vehicle. I love it. It’s beautiful! This floor plan would work for my husband and I. We are doing a lot of talking about a van or bus conversion. A bus would be better. We are big people plus we want to travel with our dogs. The mix of rustic & contemporary is what I like. It looks good! And it’s great that solar and propane is all you need. Absolutely love this conversion. The bed isn't oversized and taking up too much room like most conversions. This is like an apartment 😊 You have closet space, storage, etc.......
I have watched soooo many of these videos I’ve & seen many really cool schoolies & vans. But if I got to choose any one I want for my own, it would be this one. I love the simplicity, clean lines & color choices. It may be “sleek”, but it is very warm & inviting. Y’all did a fabulous job on this.... you too, “Dad”.
I sure hope this couple reads this. FANTASTIC. Same size bus I had, you did a GREAT job. Love the white ceiling, vintage stove, and everything else. Just great to see a bus done without emptying your bank account. Wonderful job.
This is different than the other buses I have seen and I like this one. It has what you need to live in but it needs more cabinets or shelves. Congratulations to you two. Good work.
Absolutely one of the best I have seen: so clean and well designed, functional and the open space and combination of wood and white creates an overall feeling of peaceful openness. The systems and components fit together so well, a sign of good design. Little details well thought out. Organization + careful planning + top grade inexpensive materials = beautiful functional living space. Impressive.

Love it. Get the packing cubes to keep all your clothes nice and neat and your closet looking 'organized'. one cube for jeans, another for tshirts, and so on, and you'll be surprised how much you can pack in those things, free up lots of storage, I use them even for shoes, toiletries, etc

Absolutely Love your bus layout! We bought a bus same size! 2006 blue bird diesel. Excited to see how ours turns out; you Really Inspired us!! Thanks for sharing!
I've been through those tunnels on the Needles road in South Dakota. It felt close in a van... Y'all are brave souls for taking Cecilia through. Hats off to you!
I thought the headline read ; under $10, that would have been unbelievable. I just LOVE how you used part of the top deck of the bus as a viewing / hand-out platform. Amazing, and the maintenance will be a lot cheaper than a house / apartment.
Very nice, clean, simple, and functional! And not that expensive!!!!!!! This build out was about🤔what?......$7,000?! Yes! You just said it! $5,000! Makes it that much prettier! Congratulations as well!!!!❤️
Hey, Matt! It’s PapaG!!! Glad to see you two enjoying life…really impressed with the bus! Sorry you have to sell it but…hey…family first! Hope to see you soon!
Aw a really lovely couple, and he put a shower and toilet in for his wife, it looks like a real comfy bus when you live in a normal house your tied to mortgage and utility bills but downsizing to something like this gorgeous bus you have total freedom and don’t need much to have a good life xx
What a nice couple and without a doubt, in it for the long haul... You are organized, practical, neat and very inventive... Good Luck and Congratulations...
You guys are starting out your lives together the right way. And if you can survive a build together the rest is downhill ;) I wasn't thinking of a bathroom either, but yeah, you guys sold me on it.
A little to small for me, but I have to admit I love the functionality to everything in it. Everything has a place a function and great aesthetics to it. I love the hinging coffee table for breakfast and coffee along with extension back deck with the bumper plus the upper lounge deck. Very inspiring I've been searching for a combo similar to this for outdoor lounge area with still room for solar and a fan. You have accomplished all of that while maintaining a fantastic look. Wish you guys the best.
Harvest Gold was the 1970s Appliance color cuz I had several of them and was in my twenties then. Also had the avocado color too but never liked the Coppertone brown ones too dark and dreary for me. For many years have only liked white appliances 😎. Love your skoolie. I bought a van last year and travel in that occasionally even slept at Walmart in it for the first time Last Summer. It's fun to get rid of everything and live simply. Glad you're doing that at a young age and traveling.
Thanks for this video. Thank goodness it's not like some that take half an hour to 45 minutes just raving in. Love how you both have done this... What a lovely special part of your life.
Congrats on your marriage and your happy life together! I love the conversion, great job planning, organization, and interior design! What a great way to start a new life together!
Beautiful home you have made. I dream of a tiny home. I no exactly the plan. Be safe stay healthy most of all have fun. Again your home is amazingly beautiful.
I don't know which was more adorable, the couple or the bus??? I hope y'all have a wonderful life together. Explore together this world The Lord has made for us to enjoy!!! 💑😁🚌🇺🇸
Your stink is an antique white enamel wash basin which many people used years ago to wash dishes or laundry or babies. I used them for years until just recently cuz I love anything old-fashioned which is always simpler!!

GREAT, NEW ideas! Love the fact that you paced your video to showcase your awesome home without wasting our time. You're both very pleasant & seem most interesting . . . . . Of course, I subbed! 💞👵
I have only recently become interested in the traveling short bus conversion life! So far I have found a few designs that I like and yours might be my favorite! I love the budget simplistic approach, the color scheme and overall feel! Congratulations all around!
LOL that is called the Iron Mountain road in Custer State park. I hope you got to see some buffalo and that you fed bread to the burros. I love your frugal attitude with this build. It looks like you got everything you need and didn't break the bank. Happy travels!
What a cool little bus. It looks roomy and homey. LOVE the bathroom. Could use an eating area of some kind which could double as a work space. But that's just my preference. I'm looking forward to any future videos you post. Have fun.

Love what u guys did with the bus.....not a lap of luxury but has everything u need....simple....thks for sharing!
Very nice, clean, simple, and functional! And not that expensive!!!!!!! This build out was about🤔what?......$7,000?! Yes! You just said it! $5,000! Makes it that much prettier! Congratulations as well!!!!❤️
So great to see a clean bus not filled with hippie garbage. Simple, purposeful, clean, and affordable; this couple did it the right way.
Beautiful job! Good luck in your new married life and hope you have many wonderful adventures in your great little home.
I can’t believe how beautiful this is and how little they spent!! One of my favorite builds for sure!!
You's have done an awesome job, best design I've seen on a short bus. Congratulations on your marriage 🥂
Hey, Matt! It’s PapaG!!! Glad to see you two enjoying life…really impressed with the bus! Sorry you have to sell it but…hey…family first!
Hope to see you soon!
Love the clean openness (is that a word?!) of this one! I’m happy for this couple!
Aw a really lovely couple, and he put a shower and toilet in for his wife, it looks like a real comfy bus when you live in a normal house your tied to mortgage and utility bills but downsizing to something like this gorgeous bus you have total freedom and don’t need much to have a good life xx
Sheila Whitfield And for only $10,000 bucks. I wonder how much it costs to maintain as well as registration and insurance.
I love their tiny home. It's so efficient, clean, and looks spacey
This is best bus /home design I’ve seen,by far best layout love it so much.so well done and looks better than hundred grand bus .
To describe this bus/tiny home I would simply say it's GREAT.
Fabulous work guys well done ☺️☺️

This is very similar to how my bus build is going to be. I love the back bedroom/bathroom split. Great looking bus!
I love the light and brightness. One of the best I've seen! Nice couple too.
Congrats on your marriage,
Thanks for the tour, your home is great. Plenty storage.
Beautiful home you have made. I dream of a tiny home. I no exactly the plan. Be safe stay healthy most of all have fun. Again your home is amazingly beautiful.
Girl, hang on to this man! He's a goodun! Love your conversion. It's beautiful. Great job.
I don't know which was more adorable, the couple or the bus??? I hope y'all have a wonderful life together. Explore together this world The Lord has made for us to enjoy!!! 💑😁🚌🇺🇸
a smart beautiful couple that seems to love family very much, i wish them a happy marriage and safe travels. The bus is well built and homely.
Your stink is an antique white enamel wash basin which many people used years ago to wash dishes or laundry or babies. I used them for years until just recently cuz I love anything old-fashioned which is always simpler!!
I also like this conversion cuz I never seen the bed the way it is n it makes it more open.
Amazing Build! I love how simple and clean everything is. You can attached the sink with silicone and it won't move. Thanks for sharing ! :)
Possibly my favorite short layout yet. Love the back end of this build.
I really like the clean look of the build. Nicely done.
Congrats on the wedding.
This is the best bus conversion I've seen. Very practical and looks nice without putting a fortune into it. Enjoy your first years of marriage in this!
I always love the long slide out drawers everywhere for easy accessible storage.
I really like the bedroom and bathroom layout. I haven't seen anything like that. Saved this to my roadlife ideas private playlist. ☺
GREAT, NEW ideas!
Love the fact that you paced your video to showcase your awesome home without wasting our time.
You're both very pleasant & seem most interesting . . . . . Of course, I subbed! 💞👵
Your bus conversion is just great. I'd love to have this to just enjoy being free to enjoy travel life. ILOVE IT!
Finally a build that is realistic to do by the average Joe and on a budget. Nice.
What a cool little bus. It looks roomy and homey. LOVE the bathroom. Could use an eating area of some kind which could double as a work space. But that's just my preference. I'm looking forward to any future videos you post. Have fun.
