Personal honorable mention: Treasure Planet. Robert Lewis Stevenson has become one of the most influential novelists of history. His books are to other writers what Dark Souls is to other game makers; lots of people have tried to make their own version. Just take a look at Jekyll and Hyde. Not only have people tried to modernize the stories, but in some cases, futurize them. For example, Treasure Planet. Instead of a secret collection of gold hidden in an island, there is a thousand worlds worth of plunder within the center of a whole planet, and Jim Hawkins wants the money to support his struggling mother. Spaceships designed like pirate ships, a multitude of aliens, and an over ambitious budget is one thing, but there is another movie with that title, and one from the late 80s. Not to say Disney ripped off that movie, as it is very different. After all, Disney's version didn't have a samba dance, an opera number, and a midi rendition of Ode to Joy. The animation is jankier than South Park, they go back in time to briefly live out the source material, and they go through a haunted house filled with... sirens and amputee gorgons. All for a treasure which is actually a terraformer filled with life. So apparently it eventually also became Titan AE. Some of that life includes blackface and Mickey Mouse. While not a good movie per se, it to me is an entertainingly bad movie. I am sure you can have a Saberspark style get-together and just laugh about what the fridge is going on while simultaneously wondering what the hell is up with it.
Edit: Here's a weird fun fact for you: the guy who made The Treasure Planet would later work on Dexter's Lab.

I was able to see both ‘Fantastic Planet’ and ‘Allegro Non Tropo’ thanks to my Uncle being a collector of surreal animated films from the 60s and 70s (especially with him having grown up in those days)!
I still consider Fantasia to be Disney’s best work, and probably will remain so! Although ‘Alice in Wonderland’ was my favorite movie when I was very young (like when I first watched films)!
‘It’s Such a Beautiful Day’ is one of my favorites! It’s a great film to watch if you’re looking for a film that’s not rooted in a traditional linear narrative, and it’s great to put on and go to sleep to, as a reminder that as terrifying as it is to think about how fragile life really is, one important thing to remember is this: life itself is an illusion, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
And now I can add ‘Cosmic Eye’ on my list of animated weirdness to go search for!

I must say, your overall presentation has vastly improved from your early days regarding countdowns. I've actually been looking for Allegro non Troppo for a while now, but have gotten little luck that won't suck a lotta cash out of my wallet. Also, if it's not here, I'd also like to add Phantom Tollbooth as an honorable mention.
Admittedly, it does have similarities to Alice in Wonderland (a classic in the world of strange animated films), but I'd argue it has bits you won't really find in Alice. I mean, you have a swamp where you can die by literally doing nothing, including thinking; a classically trained conductor that combines colors into the sunset; a dog with a clock in his chest/stomach; all that and more done by the animation legends Chuck Jones. The concepts alone are pretty odd without adding in all the crazy imagery you see along Milo's journey.

I never did understand how Three Caballeros started as a mostly benign propaganda film about relations with "Latin America," then spirals into Mind F!@# Territory in the third act. Why? What were they thinking? Did they not know how to end it? Did they all sample peyote in Mexico? What? I have tried to research about it but couldn't find any answers. I am glad to finally not be afraid of Fantastic Planet. It traumatized me as a kid and as an adult it took me three different attempts to make it through the entire thing. I'm glad I did, I loved the trippy music, weird stop motion, and the world-building. I'm also glad to see Yellow Submarine getting more attention. I can remember finding a VHS of it in the library on accident as a kid and being so excited to see something like it existed. I have seen that movie so many times I am pretty sure I can recite it verbatim. 😊
