It follows the Pope urging his priests to avoid "clerical hypocrisy" and treat their flocks with mercy as he delivered a lengthy set of marching orders to Rome-based priests at the start of a busy few days leading to Easter.

Pope Francis has touched my heart ♥ and that of every woman around the world who has dealt with violence. The Washing of the Feet of the women in remembrance of Jesus is a tender act of cleansing profound for women everywhere. The complete program, the site and action on Holy Thursday will hopefully become an annual event.
I waited 55 years for sucy a pope, one like Giovanni XXIII, and still I am so happy and joyfull because of him. A true servant of God.
