I've been feeling like it's time to get a portable generator for camping and unforeseen emergencies, was debating whether a River 2 Pro would be good enough or if I should shell out a bit extra for a Delta 2, but knew shamefully little about how to even evaluate the differences between the two. You made the pros and cons of each model clear, and gave a lot of objectivity that the sponsored "reviews" you find online always lack. I wound up going with a Delta 2, thanks to your advice. Thank you for doing what you do!
Great comparison. We have 2 delta pro’s with 4 extra batteries and two of the ef smart generators. I just purchased the delta 2 max with 2 extra batteries and the 800w alternator charger. We back up house power with the delta pros and the delta 2 max runs a 12000btu midea inverter ac.
I am a singer songwriter turning my van into a mobile recording studio… I like the Pecton when it’s fully charged does it still make noise ? I need something on the quite side what are your recommendations ? Cool video by the way!
Just purchased the Pecron E1500 at $0.43 per kWh and Hobotech did a review of it and rated it one of the top two for 2023. I’m sure Delta systems are good too but at what price?
My Pecron E600 has been an absolute champ! They make good power stations! I have no app support on mine but for $299 (when it was that price) you really couldn't beat it. Since then, River 2 Pro's refurbed have gone on sale for that same price. I would buy those over the Pecron but in your case, EcoFlow doesn't have anything in the 1500Wh range so I think that was a good buy!
In 6 month you got river 3 and delta 3 plus. Great for those needing to be influenced on the consumer market. But maybe not so much for comparison makers on RUclips.
Great overview of each model! In your opinion, between the river 2 pro and Delta 2, which would yiu recommend for a small family camping trip. Uses will be inflatable air mattress, tablets, and a small 12v kettle. I'm thinking the river pro 2 might work fine a couple nights of camping but not sure.
The River 2 Pro would work well for sure. BUT if you could get a Delta 2 for not much more money, that's the route I'd go. It has the ability to be expanded in terms of battery capacity, it has 2 20 amp outlets if needed, more outlets on the USB and AC front, and 25% more capacity. When you measure out the space they take up... the Delta 2 is marginally larger overall. It's a little taller, but it's slimmer. If you watched my other video on how to get these things cheap, you could grab a Delta 2 as low as $459! I have another channel that focuses on Tool Deals and the Delta 2 was $459 yesterday, but the sale is over unfortunately ruclips.net/video/gtFw_-rQVjo/видео.html Also check out my other video on how to get power stations cheap. ruclips.net/video/Z3n1I3svwJk/видео.htmlsi=hYxPMq7MAPyGXJS8 Hope this helps!
Delta 2 on sale on Amazon 499.00 U.S. That's half price, and if you live in Florida, it's tax free until 09-07-2024. River 2 is 169.00, and River 2 Pro is 399.00. Great video.
Thanks for this video! I noticed the 1050w on the River 2 PRO, I know it’s technically 800w, but that still brought my hopes up! How did you get that result?
@@EcoSolarReviews Nice! Thanks agin! There’s something about EcoFlow, I can’t seem to pin point it, it could get out specked by Bluetti across the board, and yet, it just does it for me, it’s almost like Ecoflow is the one that has to come up with the awesomeness and then Bluetti just uses that to outperform but fails to win the heart in the same way. USB c bidirectional for example.
So i'll tell ya about what i get out of this ecoflow river 2 pro i am using this as a UPS backup generator, and i have 2 monitors and a desktop pc. whilst my pc and my 2 monitors are running. its only pulling between 50 to 66 watts giving me a total of at least 8 hours of course if i don't have the fan running then its 6 to maybe 7 hours. if i just ran my desktop computer and 1 moniter, i will get less wattage. meaning from 66 watts to like 45 to maybe 50 watts i'll get like MAYBE 10 hours of runtime. with the load on my desktop computer 300 watts max, i will have at least 2 MAYBE 3 hours of runtime. the apc will provide little power for me whenever the electricity does go out. which i can get like another 25 to 40 minutes if im lucky of course. yes i do have an APC hooked into my ecoflow river 2 pro and grid power as well. when i take my laptop, my battery in my lap does tend to get hot, so i take the battery out, during the times, cause its been dropped a few times. and i don't wanna risk damaging the laptop of mine. so i have like 2 laptops 1 over by my nightstand plugged in 24/7 however, the battery in that laptop i have it set to charge to 60% if it drops to 40% or something like that. so that laptop does not move at all. and i have my dell laptop which i do for gaming at times. and that laptop is still a great laptop to have. the power draw from that laptop is like between 0 watts to 15 watts giving me like 20 hours of runtime which is plentiful for me to say the least. the sad part is, i don't have solar panels which i would love to have 220 bifacial solar panels. you've earned my subscription congrats.

@@EcoSolarReviews Thank you so much for all the info!! I actually bought the Delta 2 yesterday on eBay for $459! Super excited! Thank you again

It shoots WAAAYYY above its weight! If you turn X-Boost on through the app. If you're just powering 1 device, it'll output 1600w!

Wow! Thanks for the breakdown and sub! This will surely help others in the future!
@@EcoSolarReviews you're most certainly welcome! glad i was able to break this down.
I don't know when Pecron started making power stations, but it is older than Ecoflow by 5 years.
Vigorpool rules
I don't know about that. Newer company, app support lacking compared to EcoFlow and price.
