      I wonder if the Ordinary retinal is as good as the one from Geek&Gorgeous. I use it for over 1 year now and I like it very much. Supple, even skin with no irritation. And for a good price.

      @@Jod3lay I have the comparison on the blog post. My husband used both, first the one from G&G and then the whole bottle of this one, and didn't notice a difference. You can't tell about long term of course, the one from The Ordinary has a higher concentration, but I doubt you will see a difference. He told me he doesn't care which one we get to replace it, so I guess it will be G&G as it is better value for money.

    I think that it is quite expensive once you factor in the size. Naturium’s retinal comes in 50 ml tube for €40. And A-game 10 is, of course, less than €20. I usually pay about €23 for No 7’s retinol 30 ml but sometimes those are even cheaper since multiple offers stack with no 7. Last time, I got 3 tubes for €30.44

      Yes but naturium is 0.5 or 1

      @@spilioschristopoulos6975 I think the percentage makes very little difference in my decision when it is already as high as 0.1%. Doubling that seems slightly gimmicky

    • @olivern4784
      @olivern4784 7 месяцев назад +2

      In USD, G&G A-game 10 is $20 for 30ml and the Ordinary Retinal .2% is $15 for 15ml.

      All of the Retinal products you mentioned are half as strong!

    • @picklebird1261
      @picklebird1261 7 месяцев назад +5

      I like this product a lot. The only other Retinal product easily available at 0.2% in the US is is the Medikate 8 one and it is about $ 100 for 30 ml so The Ordinary is a real bargain at $ 30 for 30 ml. I use it on alternate nights with the G&G or Naturium 0.1% as my skin slowly adapts to it.

      I can't answer that. It isn't designed for the eyes, so depending on your eyes it could lead to irritation or dryness.

      I haven't tried either, so I can't comment on them. I would love to though, as both sound interesting. Dr Sam's products have either been hit or miss for me from what I have tried so far.

    I've been using 0.1 Cerave retinol daily, would this be a more intense step? Would I need an intermediate step? Thanks :))

    • @DoctorAnne
      @DoctorAnne  6 месяцев назад +1

      As far as you can tell this would be a step up in strength. I am not sure if an intermediate step would be needed, that depends on your skins sensitivity, but I assume you could go straight to it and maybe start using it a few times a week instead of every night for the first weeks.

    What is the best cream or serum to reduce wrinkles at the age of fifty or forty?

    • @DoctorAnne

      It is a combination of different things, but a Retinal is surely a good one to include.

    What effect did it have on your husband's face?

    • @DoctorAnne
      @DoctorAnne  6 месяцев назад +1

      He has been using another Retinal for several months now, so it didn't have a drastic effect. It didn't cause any irritation either, or dryness or flaking. Since he started using a Retinal, his skin looks more even and his ingrown hairs have reduced, which is about what we did expect to happen.

    The question now is: Which is better? The ordinary retinal or the G+G A-Game?

    • @DoctorAnne
      @DoctorAnne  6 месяцев назад

      I compare them in depth on the blog, but I guess it depends on your preferences. Geek and Gorgeous is more affordable, The Ordinary has a higher concentration, but if that makes a difference in effect I can't say.
