Oh my lord the possibilities this opens up!! 😭😭 That target shooting game looks so good! All those building pieces are a great surprise. And holy crow those ghost animatronics look amazing! A downtown area is the next thing I’m adding to my park and I’m so happy this pack came out before I began!
I love how this pack is themed to Ghostbusters but most items can be used for anything but When Planet Coaster comes for consoles, I will make a Ghostbusters ride though as Ghostbusters is my favourite film but you can use the ghosts for themes like Luigi’s Mansion
I think you should bring back Studios. At least a couple episodes. Not that I don’t watch all your Planco vids, but studios was my favorite. And as far as I can tell, nobody is building much along those lines lately.
Your comment on going back to a studio park. You should talk to Masked Bandit for your group project after Uzuri. The Masked Sparrow Studios park. You guys have played a few of the same games so you can both work on those, and you can pick one or two games you didn't both play to build rides out of... also you can totally cheat and just move Subnautica over because that turned out really well. I really like your group builds, you guys keep each other super engaged, and it ups both your Planet Coster games.
Or Jonti Bandit Studios... I dunno. But your back story is you were two seperate studios that merged way way back and mashed your names together cuz it's funny.
Someone in my town tricked out their car to look like the ghost busters car so you will just be out and about and then you’ll be like oh it’s the ghost busters car and it’s great

Sounds like you need a ghostbusters movie night, you could probably make a Safari range ride with that shooting coaster for your current Uzuri park like take down poachers kinda thing
I will have to take a closer look at this myself this weekend, so maybe it's already in there, but what I think would suit the new Target system quite well is attaching triggers to targets to make non-target scenery pieces react to being "shot" - or maybe even some minor chain reactions, like shooting the explosive barrels (or rather, a target attached to them) to blow them up and trigger several special effects (like a deep rumbling sound effect, dust falling from the ceiling and surrounding animatronics getting knocked back).
I'm not really a ghostbusters fan so when I saw this announced I didn't really look into it but omg those wall sets and building pieces!!! also that diagonal wall piece... would be lush if in a future update they added even a single diagonal piece to each wall set, but I can't see it happening :( will probably buy this eventually, though I may wait a few months to see if the price drops in a steam sale at all, bc I'm not that interested in scenario mode and we get the shooter for free anyway, so £15 is a bit steep for me. but as always, thanks for the video! your overviews are so thorough and I love how you get excited about the small detail pieces like the vents, those little pieces can really make a build and I feel the exact same way! really can't wait to see how you play with all of this, whether it's a new series or popping back into pinewood or geekism studios for an episode or two!
Let's talk about the content of this new DLC, as always when there are really surprising additional content I am really excited. Animatronics and scenario elements are inevitable and always welcome. But what surprised me most is the shooting ride with laser guns, and I was surprised that we can be players themselves and shoot from the car to hit the targets. Then the fact that there are also the traditional white and red circle targets, but also the ghost holograms, this was the best thing they managed to achieve and implement in Planet Coaster. Now you can do a spooky house with laser guns and wonder if it will ever be possible to create other targets with the thememaker's toolkit. Maybe it's a silly question, but it's worth asking. After this I would also expect the aquatic shooting ride on the boats from which you shoot with water cannons. More targets for other themes would be really nice, to shoot pirates, cowboys, aliens, and so on. And I thought that I doubted that it would be possible to do the shooting rides in Planet Coaster and instead they did it, really good work.
Egon, Peter, Ray, Winston and the woman baddie is Gozer. Great vid, love watching these, you do a great job of showing off everything. I havent gotten as in depth with this game still but I love watching all the vids and hope to someday throw together a coaster that's awesome (darn work) lol
You could make Toy Story Mid Way Mania. My connecting the ride up to a display sequencer, it starts a video in front of the vehicle and then it activates the targets as the video plays. The only sad part is that it would not get hit down as it went. But how would I get the video hmm. No idea, I have pretty much no way to get to disneyland. :( Looking forward to this pack!
Welp, here comes all the new refurbished Ghostbuster rides.... and I am TOTALLY OK with that! Not to mention, it's about damn time Planet Coaster got a proper shooter ride! It's always been my favorite kind of ride-coasters are great and all, but they don't have the same thrill from behind a computer screen.
I think this pack is worth it even if you DON’T like Ghostbusters. The wall pieces and the shooting galley ride alone are worth the price of admission!
Holy wow. That's WAY more stuff than I was expecting. It looks phenomenal. Question about the targets...can they be linked to animatronics so that the animatronics trigger if the target is hit? If not, that seems like a missed opportunity from the devs. Can't wait to get this tomorrow. Are there any new sound effects and music?

I'm a bit disappointed that you haven't watched this classic sci-fi comedy since you were a kid though. It's hard to be fan of the IP if you've only seen the film once. Funny that you keep calling him "Smiler" instead of "Slimer".
Just a thought, but with all the money that Frontier is getting from these great DLC's, it would be nice to spend some of that on making MUCH better tutorials for those of us who love the game, but we REALLLLLLY suck at it... Tutorials on not just what buttons do what, but tutorials on things like what makes a good coaster, how to make a good coaster station, etc... Again, just a thought.
Easily worth the price for what you get. Honestly if the price is putting you back, don't buy a soda at your next trip to the restaurant and you will have the difference in price saved to pay for it.
It kind of sucks that Planet coaster hasn't gotten a new dlc since this one released one year ago. Also the game hasn't gotten a update since November.
I downloaded the game a while ago, but I have a question: how do you rotate things so perfectly? Whenever I rotate things I can never get it at 90 degrees. It's always either 92 or 89 which is very annoying
look in the settings for the piece when you've got hold of it (should be bottom left corner of the screen), there should be an option for 'angle snap', tick that box (or press spacebar to toggle it) and then it rotates at a specific angle so you can get things bang on!
Vannquish Gaming it was technically a construction kit for about £2.99 which featured the Delorean, a go kart ride and some other stuff. I recommend watching the coaster made by Theme Park Worldwide to see what you can do with it

You could hide a big stationary target behind a scene - so guests shoot whatever you place in front.

I grew up/live in New York and I love the movie and I have to say, they really did an amazing job recreating the city and spook central.
Rather had regular rides instead of themed GB ones. Still is useful for other projects, especially the new walls and building objects.
