It is quite similar to what Southeastern did to 2 of their high speed trains, because both of the face masks are blue, and I like them both! It is a smart idea to put a face mask on a train, it reminds people to wear a face mask
If a train can cover its face so can you? As far as I am aware trains do not breathe and do not have vital organs that need a good intake of oxygen for said vital organs to survive, therefore keeping a living organism alive. Coupled with the dramatic alarmist music |I'd say this is a propaganda piece and Scotrail as a customer-focused business should be extremely ashamed of themselves. Mind you, from what I hear, the franchise is in trouble, so I suppose Karma is a bitch sometimes.

They won't be used on that route as it's electrified, Lyle. We use Class 380 and 385 units on this route. ^CT

I think the main reason for this livery was to encourage people to wear a mask and also technically trains have grills near engine to intake air
