1983 GL1100 Aspencade cafe racer convertion | # cafe racer # goldwing

always wanted a goldwing cafe racer to be mine, finally got the guts to pick one aspencade and built it myself. so far it's coming out good.

Long awaited build, it was a challenge to figure out the way to reuse the instrument cluster but it all came together.

How did you modify the rear fender and front fender

For the rear fender, after I re-did/modified the seat, I trimmed the rear fender about 4 or 5 inches past the seat leaving rounded edges.
And for the front fender, I removed it and trimmed it as you see it. Both with an angle grinder.
