Hello, I bought this Pivot GT 2 in 1 skateboard because of your review on it. I bought it in August 2023. Sadly, I think they have scammed me for my money. They sent two emails in August and September saying a tracking number would be send early September. I waited patiently and never received a tracking number. I emailed them on September 18, 2023, asking for a tracking number. They never emailed back to this. It is October now and they still are not responding and have yet to send me a tracking number to the Pivot GT I bought in August. Was I scammed? My name is Charletta Martin

This is an intermediate board just beyond entry level. Other boards with similar specs want about 500 USD more at the time of this writing. I hope that all electric skateboard manufacturers would design a remote control for left-handed people as well. Currently, left-handed individuals cannot see the display at all or it is difficult to view.

Questions: When installing my AT wheels. the back feels like having a lot more resistance when rolling my board if its turned off. Is this normal? When I am low on battery the controller starts to vibrate a few times every X seconds. when on 1/5 bars. Is it okay to drive slowly when this happens. how much range is left. 20%? When using my Street wheels. I've got a rattling sound in the rear wheels. It seem to be the spacers inside the rear wheel. Do you have this issue as well?
What do you think about the decision to go DKP on this board? Looks like you were happy with stability at speed, would you prefer a TKP or is it not an issue?
Hey Minty, In a world of TKP It was refreshing to ride DKP, and to me delight it was quite stable I can honestly say at no stage did I get a single speed wobble
If you remember, how long did it take to arrive after receiving tracking number? I received my tracking info two days ago, and so far no updates and hasn’t been picked up by UPS yet.
Mate sooooo many good options My personal favourite at the moment is the Aries 2023 but it’s also quite expensive Zeus is tried and tested and Pivot is making a very good name for itself. The big positive thing about Pivot is it’s customer service, they are one of the best in the biz
@joehiatt1992 if you want 2in 1 go pivot, if you are ok with just pneumatic tyres go to nomad both are amazing deals after SCOTTD but the nomad does have a lot more power

Dose the esc having a 90% warranty claim rate on it. Mean its in a bad location? Possibly having a problem getting wet or something. But yeah looks like a great board at any price for that matter. He means that between battery issues or esc issues historically on warranty claims the vast majority of the time it’s ESCs that need to be replaced. He does not mean that 90% of all ESCs go. The total number of ESCs that go is still a very small % in comparison to total board ownership but even less batteries go than that. So having the ability to access the esc location from below means easier ownership. Including for those who just want to add their own custom one.

Hey Scott, bout to hit the purchase button on either Pivot GT or ownboard zeus pro. There's a $90 difference between the 2 after shipping/taxes. Help me make a decision :D Id want reliability and overall good riding feel. Came from an Exway X1 Max a while back and hated the range, small wheels, the truck snapped on me while going 10mph. It was probably due to hitting all the sidewalk cracks.
Hmmmm no bad choice out of those two I do love the Pivot look and ride feel Speed mode 1-3 are quite relaxed and if you want more get up and go speed mode 4 is fun, The big plus Propel has I think over most brands I’d their customer service and constant innovation Yea after my discount code it’s very very good value especially with the 50s cells

@yohvh hey mate, I honestly don’t believe propel lies to anybody about shipping dates shipping is out of their control and sometimes things do take longer than expected. My suggestion would be to reach out to propel online. They have two guys based in America, who answered all queries very quickly and very honestly their names are Michael and Russ. Unfortunately, the comment section can be a dangerous place as it has been proven other brands are paying and motivating non-owners to leave bad comments to try to scare new owners off some brands.
