This whole area is really cool. I went up to Custer 5 years running and toured this area over and over. I've sat right outside this tunnel and seen one of the most intense thunder storms in my life. Black Hills are well worth the trip.

to those who are saying that the road could be made a few feet wider, I see there is a "Falling Rock" sign put up there. It might be the case that a small amount of disturbance would cause a full collapse.
