I really like Freedom. With it being a wreath, I can see using fall colors and embroidering a cornucopia or turkey in the center. Christmas colors would also look great! Possibilities are endless! Really loved the close-ups of the finished quilts to see the quilting as well as close-ups of the individual fabrics. As always, enjoyed watching your video. Thank you for the great ideas!
The new pattern is stellar. Thank you for a feminine view of this pattern by using the floral fabric, as there are many who would enjoy this version. Perhaps even for a young girl with a parent in Service. And the pattern can obviously be constructed from a more masculine perspective, or non-gendered. It's truly a perfect pattern and just lovely! My sister works for the VA. She told me that although many veterans like the red, white, and blue, stars and stripes designs, many others really would prefer other colors and designs. She says her clients are very enthusiastic about quilts that are not red, white, and blue. I don't mean to rain on your parade, lots of people want these designs. But lots of vets would prefer a nice design with dogs or deer or leaves. I've seen my sister and her coworkers get excited over a beautiful design like Fabric Cafe's 9+1. Of you don't have a quilts of valor group nearby, you can call your nearest VA hospital or Veteran's home to ask about what sizes they need.
