- Hey ! thanks for clicking on my video ! In this video, Myself and my dog (Wendell), Leave from the Leblanc Rd in Dieppe hit the trails and head off into the Memramcook trail system.
We check out and tour a few of the warming huts, stop to have a campfire and cook up some lunch which gets interrupted by "Springtails" but you'll have to watch to see what they are.

You're so lucky to have groomed trails just for ATVs! As far as Wendell is concerned, I work with dogs for a living, he's a Jack, obviously the critics don't know the breed. They LOVE to run! He's a very lucky pup. You guys are awesome to him.

Such awesome and fun trails you have. New Mexico doesn't have many designated trails to ride on like this. We have to make up our own trails as we go.
As for Wendell. What I see is a happy and well taken care of dog. To me, every time I see him running all I see is smiles from him. Keep doing what you are doing. People need to get over this.

I had a smooth coat, short legged JRT that lived for 16 years. She definitely was not much of a winter dog though. They are great dogs with seemingly endless energy. Wendel seems to do ok with the cold though. Good on you for finding a way to bring Wendel with you on your ATV rides. And yes let Wendel run!

We got homeless people surviving in tarp teepees set up in downtown Winnipeg in -40c . . .gubmint says they're asking for more than we can give, but your video proves it can be done with a little effort and many hands. The shelters are awesome here though, it' all funded by the club and volunteers, it's so cool to see so many great ppl working together.

I’m in Ontario but I’m a garbage-picker-upper on the Atv trail too. That stuff makes me crazy! Almost as bad as folks that tear up the trail or folks just being disrespectful. When they do bad things we all get judged. I also always stop for turtles and snakes! Anyone giving you hard time about Wendell hasn’t ever had or been around a jrt! They become quite insane/destructive if not exercised or worked. Extremely intelligent dogs

Yeah Wendell loves to run, he's a wild dog for sure ! super smart but very stubborn as you probably know haha luckily he hasn't destroyed anything in the house except for one of my socks when he was a pup, even if we don't get out to walk him, which is awesome haha

Hey ! thanks Don ! I Appreciate that ! I made some changes to hit box, you can see on newer videos, added foam on 3 sides and not a pool noodle (b/c of the colour) but I used foam pipe insulation around the edges. it's much better now.

Hey ! yeah it's super fun ! really fast easy going on the groomed parts, then you can have some fun off trail. Also your machine stays clean so no need to clean after haha

I not long lost my Jack Russell that looked just like your she was 18 years old and I can confirm they love to run around I would go out walking with mine all day and she would be in and out of the bushes all the time just popping out every now and again to check I was still there, totally non stop all day. What people say about making yours run next to your ATV just shows they know nothing about dogs especially Jack Russell Terriers, he is having the time of his life. Great video buddy!!! Just ignore the idiots criticizing your treatment of your dog. It’s obvious how well you take care of Wendel! These people try and do the same to me with Esme. They typically know nothing about dogs and what their needs are or how they get enjoyment. All dogs love to run, it’s depends on the breed, age and level of fitness how far they like to do it. Keeps them healthy! Keep doing what your doing 😉

Hey there. Liked your video. About your pooch. You are absolutely right about your pooch and anybody who says different, doesn't know much of anything about animals. I'm from Alberta and love the ATVing thing but there is not much support for ATV Rider in the winter because of some atv's and utv's tear up the trails for snowmobilers. In the summer though, there are numerous trails everywhere. Thanks for the video. Really enjoyed it.
Hey man ! thanks for checking out my video ! yeah it's great here, in the summer the ATV's are free to use all the trails unless on privet land and its closed by the owner. In the winter some ATV clubs have their own groomed trails and some trails are shared. but up northern NB, it's pretty much Sled only all winter.

Hey ! yes thats what they are called here too, but after doing some research, they aren't a flea at all, they are called "Spring tails". I sure hope spring is coming, I'm itching to get out on the motorcycle haha

Hey Rodney ! thanks man ! we do have some beauty warming shacks along the trails, unfortunately the trails are closed (they are too wet and will get all rutted) and the warming shacks are closed b/c of the COVID19 stuff... so no riding for a bit....

Just a suggestion for Wendel's crate . . . have you ever thought about using foam pipe insulation, or swimming pool noodles, on those edges he leans on? The pipe insulation would probably be the exact right size and you can buy it at any hardware store. Plus, it is already cut on one side and ready to go.
That cabin at 9:00 was amazing! I was hoping you were going to do a Crapper Review, but you redeemed yourself later - HAHAHA!!! I'm assuming it's on Crown Land and he just buys a lease for a small chunk of land to build a hunting cabin? Or am I way off? Regardless, I need to look into this and build one of these for myself - LOL

I think most of the cabins are on crown land but the Lake Shelter one was on Privet land, and the land owner let them build there which is awesome to see.

I think 3-wheelers were so popular here in the 70s, 80s and 90s that when they added that 4th wheel it just made sense.
Quad is never really used here.
Indiana DNR calls says ORV, but that includes snowmobiles, Jeeps, trucks, and any type of off-road vehicle.
They're starting to differentiate by calling them ATVs.
I wish we could all adopt the word quad. It's one syllable and it's clear what we're talking about.

Anywho, I would love to ride those groomed trails but this crap going on doesn't help. I would have to isolate 2 weeks there and 2 weeks here after returning. Not doing that. Some day should things return to normal. Happy trail riding!

NS really drops the ball when it comes to ATV'ing... they really dont see the economic benefit to it.... they'd rather make all the trails Non-motorized.... where they get ZERO dollars from walkers and bikers.... zero. at least with ATV's they gets tax money from license, registration, insurance then trail passes, the small tows get money when the ATV'ers spend money in there... food, lodging, gas..... which are all taxed as well... I just don't get it... all the trails I used to ride down in Porters Lake NS are all walkers only now.... they don't even let the horses on them anymore.... it's sad.

Another great video. I looked through the comments expecting someone to ask what Donair was considering you have viewers from all over. This to me looked to be a perfect winter ride. A good lunch over a fire, great trails and some real nice places to stop and warm up a bit. NB is a fantastic example of how the sport of ATVing can bring a lot of folks together for the enjoyment of the outdoors.

I think it's great how you take care of your dog. Wendell is awesome. Those warming huts are cool. I'm in Wisconsin, been following you for a month or two and have been watching your new and past vids. Lucky you can go on all the trails in winter. Not much available here for atving in winter except for some road routes open to us. Very few trails open so far. Thanks for cleaning up after the jerks, that's really cool! Keep enjoying the outdoors. :)

Poor Wendell, what!!!! He is built to run and is in his glory. A real happy pup for sure. The air in the woods does something to a dog, they act differently and look free.. Being a scottie nut, i seen that difference in my terrier years ago. Wendell was actually taking you out for a run and you didn't even know it. 😊

Great video. Got to love winter riding. I’ve eliminated battery problems for my GoPro. I carry a large battery pack in my inside pocket and connect it directly to my camera with a cable. Keeping it warm makes it last for hours.
Hey !! man I want to do that too but I have my microphone plugged into the mini USB where the battery charge cable goes. or do you have something that plugs into the same spot as the battery? have a link?
@@MaritimerThe standard gopro mic adapter (gopro.com/en/ca/shop/accessories/pro-3.5mm-mic-adapter/AAMIC-001.html) plugs into the power port on the camera and lets you connect to both a mic and power. I don't know how to send photos or find an email address through the comments on RUclips.

I believe those bugs are snow fleas seen a lot of them in the last few years I'm not far from you I'm in Kent County. I have a 660 Grizzly but don't bike much just seems like anyone I have ever went with only wanted to drive fast I like your speed I us mine mostly for hunting, fishing and yard work. Great video loved seeing the trails and warning huts. I'm sure I've seen you before I have a memory for faces.

Nice to have groomed atv trails nothing like that here only groomed snowmobile ones . We ride as much can in winter use log roads that access trails then just plow through it lol .
On a side note for fire starter i carry a film container or pill bottle take cotton balls smother them in vasilne put about 6 or so in easy to carry they burn in the rain even .
That way can make it part of your out door kit for summer or winter then no need for paper cheers !

I subscribed to your channel because of Wendell lol, and well, some good camping and cooking, too. ; Here's another Stanley thermos tip... check it's cap... if there are grooves on the threaded sides, you don't need to remove it completely to pour the liquid out... simply loosen a couple of turns and that will create enough space to pour. Try it! Nice day trip and enjoyed the tours of the shelters.... we don't have anything like that here in the AZ desert, so they were a neat concept to learn about. Great video,It all looks pretty smooth on the trails. The fancy outhouse with the stove,When you came out of there i thought i got a quick look at the side of the building and it looked like a stainless steel chimney on the side. If so that stove could be functional for the ladies i would think....lol Cheers man !

Tourism New Brunswick should be featuring your videos, what a great promotion of the ATV industry. Those bugs are what my father (a forester with the Department of Lands and Forests in NS) use to call, snow fleas. Not sure if they are real fleas but I'd check your pup just to be sure.

We went out last weekend in the Shediac area for the event they had going on there and will be going out next weekend hopefully going from Cap-Pele to Sackville and back. You should look into doing the run at the end of the month for Winter Border Blast in Sackville. It would be a good opportunity to get some video of one of the biggest event of the year in our area. Again, very good video as always :)
