I remember when I was in school, why am I learning this. Now that I am retired I can see why I learned the things I did. School would have been so much better if I would have known why.

Very smart, these type of education is being done in DRC as student enter high school, they are being guided into a carrier path of their choice, learning both practical and theories. For those who select mechanical path, they will be thought how to build and assemble an engine. Same goes for electronic, electricity, IT, account and any other fields.
Educators have forgotten or don’t know how to MOTIVATE students to learn. Once the motivation is there, it will spark the Curiosity. Curiosity sets the quest for discovery.
all they do is give us students confusion not curiosity hahaha
@@quincylorenzodones4689 Man all they give now is problems to solve not that motivation but I'm sure you've heard that cliche this is for your future or somewhat it's mostly making us tiring that we've been hearing that same thing that they say about their own way of saying motivation
There was one single teacher I've actually had that even came close to doing that
people are just remembering things and copying in paper that is education system we are following
Ya i was reading novels fluently when i entered school at 5 years old.. i was curious and outspoken with an open mind.. after a few years i became despondent.. What i learned from my teachers was that nobody likes a “know-it-all” and it was preferable for me blend in and to be mediocre. University was somewhat better but in the end I had to unlearn everything anyway. Now i know that wisdom is already complete within us if we listen inwardly. My intuition is my teacher now.
Intuition is the right teacher.. It got buried under all the forced teaching from the education system and society.. Like Pink Floyd says about teachers thru lyrics "All in all your just another Brick in the Wall "
