Love this guy and love this song. First heard it when he sang it in Crazy Heart and fell in love with him then. Then he appeared in Yellowstone and the rest is history. Just love him and his music. His voice has that distinct sound to it sort of like Willie Nelson. When you hear it you know it❤️❤️❤️
Probably written comments before but this guy has got it , inner poetry combined with a side of heartbreak, combined with destiny, combined with all that other shit , that makes good Musick.
Your heart's on the loose You rolled them sevens with nothing to lose And this ain't no place for the weary kind You called all your shots Shooting eight ball at the corner truck stop Somehow this don't feel like home anymore And this ain't no place for the weary kind And this ain't no place to lose your mind This ain't no place to fall behind Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try Your body aches Playing your guitar, sweating out the hate The days and the nights all feel the same Whiskey has been a thorn in your side It doesn't forget The highway that calls for your heart inside And this ain't no place for the weary kind This ain't no place to lose your mind This ain't no place to fall behind Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try Your lover's warm kiss It's too damn far from your fingertips You are the man that ruined her world Your heart's on the loose You rolled them sevens with nothing to lose This ain't no place for the weary kind

Is there any place to order or buy CD;s? I could download with Google music but they closed and youtube music would never let me download. I want to buy the downloads so I can put them on a flashdrive to listen to in my car or in my speaker when out working in the yard. Walmart is the only place that sells CD;s here and they have about 25 artists to choose from
I love this song but the way the presenter says "Alright Bingham is here in this is his song the weary kind" sounds like he's on diamond city Radio in Fallout 4. peace
The online chords or progression you've seen is probably incorrect. When learning a song note-for note, chord for chord - always follow how the songwriter writes it as opposed to how someone else who interprets it. (more often than not, the online chords or tab is incorrect) I've found in 30 years of playing live, the best way to learn a song written by someone else - is to learn by ear & practice the shit out of it...
Yeah I disagree too. Tge tone in ryans voice is incredible, I saw him live a couple years back in glasgow and he was insanely good. Maybe this isnt the best recording to do him justice.
These productions probably don't have DOPs. And I'm sure the lack of better shots could have been helped in the edit, but the problem with these internet radio "channels" is that their content is formulaic & thus automated - there's no real director in any sense, no director of photography, ergo no one to also dictate post production. They just set a certain template for what their videos should look like, and instruct the grunts (i.e. the "cameramen" & the editors) to follow that template. So, you see, it's all automatic, just like how sitcoms are produced. Not unless the cam ops & editors they hire are themselves, DOPs and/or real editors with a real sense of visual storytelling - which I highly doubt. And anyway, since they're a radio channel, their main focus would be the audio, so that's where they cash in. I reckon that the (video) production team just doesn't bother to take initiative for those facts, they just stick to the script and get their paycheck, no passion necessary. Which is kind of disappointing - what's the point of the video, then? P.S. KEXP, if you are hiring - not only do I have 7 years of industry experience as a director, cinematographer, and editor, I am also a musician, which is why I have a very keen & intimate sense with the art of conveying music through visuals. I love this song and have been playing & singing it for about 4 years. I'm a huge Bingham fan. I never noticed until now that it very well may be a rip-off of Leonard Cohen's Bird on a Wire. Hmm...
What kind of drugs are you on?! It isn't even the same chords, lyrics, tempo, etc. etc. lol. Do you play music? Using a melodic Americana Melody and using a G chord or D chord doesn't make it a ripoff. 90% of country/americana/rock n'roll use these chords, but ok haha.
Michael Lee Since you read my comment, you know that I not only play music, but I play this song. Bingham has himself stated that Cohen is one of his biggest influences. The tempo seems very different because The Weary Kind is a finger-picking song, whereas Bird on a Wire is mostly a slow-strummer. Other than that, the biggest difference between playing the 2 songs is the E chord in BOAW, versus the G in TWK. I'm not the only person who has noticed the similarity between the 2 songs.. do a search.
hartsickdisciple I did and I play it is similar, but the chords are not the same, as one is using a capo, therefore the chord not only sounds different, but is different. There are similarities in every song, especially country, but it isn't the same.
Ryan, you need your own Yellowstone spin-off movie or series. Love you work brother.
If you’re reading this, don’t give up. What you do and your happiness you find in life matters. ❤
Thank you

Your heart's on the loose
You rolled them sevens with nothing to lose
And this ain't no place for the weary kind
You called all your shots
Shooting eight ball at the corner truck stop
Somehow this don't feel like home anymore
And this ain't no place for the weary kind
And this ain't no place to lose your mind
This ain't no place to fall behind
Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try
Your body aches
Playing your guitar, sweating out the hate
The days and the nights all feel the same
Whiskey has been a thorn in your side
It doesn't forget
The highway that calls for your heart inside
And this ain't no place for the weary kind
This ain't no place to lose your mind
This ain't no place to fall behind
Pick up your crazy heart and give it one more try
Your lover's warm kiss
It's too damn far from your fingertips
You are the man that ruined her world
Your heart's on the loose
You rolled them sevens with nothing to lose
This ain't no place for the weary kind
Ruined THE world
You the MVP

Esta música é muito linda e fica muito bacana na voz do Ryan!
I came here because of Crazy Heart. I returned because of Yellowstone. I stuck around because of his music.

Wowww, I can hear clearly Jackson C. Frank

he´s playing different from the chords online. Can someone explain?

not so deep! he looks tired maybe high:) so, it's a simple concantration problem while live performing
Anatoly Kasyanenko unlikely as the picking pattern would change with different root chords.
Keanu Reeves sure is talented.

Cowboy way , he's a good actor on yellow stone
I know it's his song, but man, how much better with Jeff's voice ( :
I respectfully disagree!

@@millioregano exactly, I saw Ryan last year ... Finally. 😬🤩🎶🎶🎶♥️...after all Who’s the real Troubadour ?
