This was my favorite car back in the days i still remember, i begged by dad to buy this car we didn't have the budget then we bought a zen estilo sports. Even after buying that car i had gone to skoda showroom just to sit in the car and get the feel.

One of my uncle had a Diesel one. It's performance was awesome. He used to drive it weekly from his work to his home which is almost 200+ KMs and he takes only 3 hours to come. 😂 The Power it offers is Phenomenal ♥️
Fabia had tank like build quality and excellent paint job. Those plying on the roads, even a decade old ones, still look as good as new. Those who wanted a peppy engine went for the 1.6 litre version which later found place in the Rapid. Sad that Fabia was discontinued in India though the newer generations of Fabia in the west are doing roaring business.
There was also a 4 cylinder petrol that came with a sunroof, projector zenon headlights, an armrest and some nifty extra features. Also the auto window does work on the Fabia. There was a software update which enabled you to do that. If you put the key in the door lock and turn it towards the unlock position and hold it, all the windows will go down. The VCDS update just enables you to use the same feature on the remote. A lot of owners weren't aware of it and never got it done. For it's time, it also came with heated mirrors, adjustable seatbelts, speakers with tweeters, parking ticket holder, one touch up and down function for all windows , front and rear roof lamps, sunglass holder, height adjustable driver and passenger seat, steering adjustment for rake and reach and a cooled glovebox.
The l&k varient which came with the sunroof was having Projector headlamps with HID , and her brother (polo ) came with none of these and it still doesn’t get any of these , but it’s still is a great car to drive
I have a white skoda fabia htp and it has been 10 years and still it hasnt broke down or give any problems hats off to skoda for the build quality really love it
I think you should have mentioned that in the next gen fabia they got the 1.6 petrol engine with 105bhp and 156 mm torque. 105 bhp was what a GT tsi developed in the previous gen GT. And this version of Fabia is near perfect even for today's times.
The new Fabia and Polo launched in international markets should be launched in India too, it would honestly go very well with the Kushaq and Slavia, or the Taigun and Vitrus respectively. Too bad they discontinued the Polo :(

Iski trained workmanship nahi hai India me isliye logo ko problem jaati hai i know service part me but kabhi koi breakdown nahi, Na colour gaya na rusting hui abhi tak superb built quality. The best hatchback i saw till now...
My uncle bought this car back in 2009. When I first sat in this car it was so premium and luxurious to me because we were having an 2007 model of i10. And this car was like somthing else............loved the fabia since then
My uncle use to own one what a great car it was very comfortable but the main problem was the maintenance it was high as well as the service centre were aren't as available as its rivals but still it was a great car
Faisal I owned a Skoda Fabia Elegance Diesel. It was a 1.4 TDI PD (Turbo Diesel Injection - Pump Duese Techonology) it was an extremely peppy engine. The car was ahead of its time in terms of safety and built quality was top notch. The only disadvantage was the engine was a bit noisy and the maintenance was too high for the car of this size. I can assure you colliding Skoda and any other hatch, people in Skoda would be safe.
The Skoda Fabia was a great car but due to its predominantly European car characteristics and Skoda never adapting it for the Indian market it was bound to fail miserably. Nevertheless a terrific car and a great review as always by Faisal Bhai!
It is having most advanced features back in 2009. The car you have to drive is top end 1.6litre and that is top end. Window up n down is available in top variant. This car you are driving is middle variant. Now days everyone opening a RUclips channel while absolutely no idea on car. Just speaking English won’t makes you car enthusiast

I have a 2008 Fabia 1.4 TDI Elegance, the one with a sunroof, projector headlights, heated mirrors, etc etc. Over the years Ive get mostly everything changed in order to get the car as close to showroom condition as possible. Let me know if you want to come drive it someday.

I own a 1.2ftp the engine is not as bad as you say. Comparing it with a tiago the tiago engine is just dead in front of fabia. I think my 1.2htp is so much fun to drive and gets to 120kmph so easily and good for city driving too.
I have this car. 2011 model petrol. Bought it second hand in 1.4 lakh delhi number only 30k clocked. Now its at 50k mark. I just love the interior and ride quality at highways. Fuel economy is the only drawback in this car

I own the same car and yes most of the people who bought this car was build quality other than that it was offering 2 airbags, ABS even in base models the feature which even some of todays cars don't offer.
@@trueaawaz321 it depends on 1) whats the price 2) where do you stay as spare parts are not easily available. 3) condition of the car 4) spare parts are costly compared to other cars ( are you willing to pay that extra price?) I would suggest to buy a new car if you are gonna keep it for a long time, as used car will start giving maintenance soon.

that feature is there in my fabia 2010. the car in the video has a worn out clutch and aftermarket locking mech. 1st gear still reaches 60kmph

To open all the windows down you have to insert the key and hold it at the unlock postition and hold at lock position to roll up all the windows
I've exact same car but silver color. Its 2009 model, never broke down so far. Pretty heavy car with solid build quality.
