Škoda superb V6 is amazing car.Infact I also have a Škoda superb V6 which I had purchased at 7th April 2012 in black colour.still now I am the first owner and using it and my car had been driven just 24000 kms.But than also I don’t want to sell it as I am still enjoying but I drive only on long journeys. For daily use I have a Toyota Fortuner.
I have owned 1.8 TFSI Superb. It was an absolute gem in terms of comfort and stability. But even that car gave me 7 KMPL in the city. This V6 4x4 must not be giving anything above 4-5 KMPL which makes it impractical for daily use. I don't believe this figure of 16! You can argue that it's an enthusiast's car but on indian roads you hardly get an opportunity to be an enthusiast. And if the mechatronic of the gearbox gets damaged (which it will after 10 years at least), you are done. Genuine parts will cost you upwards of 2.5L and second hand parts will never bring back the original feeling.
In terms of maintenance, I read a thread in Team-BHP site, where people were discussing that they're spending around 15-20k per routine service visit just for a VW Polo in 2010ish timelines. Im in 2024 is crying to spend the same amount for my skoda superb in a FNG after these many years which is two segments higher. That is when I understood that why VAG cars got a really bad name wrt TCO.

@@SagarShinde-s2k if you can afford petrol charges then you should obviously go for it because in cities it will give you nearby 5-8 km/l and even less but for that it will provide you excellent interior with very raw and high power which gives amazing experience but before buying just check the car properly for example the clutch plate and engine should be in proper condition so as gearbox otherwise replacement is costly and ofcourse if you are buying a skoda or vw you should know a bit how to operate inside engine hood because it needs sometime kyuki har baar toh garage nahi leke jaoge na thode thode ke liye
