A lot of those dudes from the 80s and before ruined their life fighting the best way past their prine so I see it from that point of view too. Crawford is taking a risk with Canelo if he ever gets that fight but I think he's so smart he will come with a gameplan to outbox him. Ennis is definitely high risk low reward For Crawford but same goes for loma if he fights tank. And in lomas case it could be his health that's at risk more than anything

Definitely a duck he got 21 professional fights. Loma never fought anyone that wasn’t on top rank no cross promotion fights. This his first cross promotion fight and he said tank didn’t have anything to offer years ago it’s footage out there him saying it.
EXACTLY, no Cross promotional fights because he had an Exclusivity deal with ESPN, and was signed to Top Rank. Top Rank’s deal with ESPN is not being renewed for 2024, and that’s why negotiations were able to happen.
Truth be told . Loma would have lost against tank the same way he did against Teofemale lopez. He would have felt the power but the quickness would have kept loma away and circling Tank all night. Tank is a better fighter then Teofemale so I think Loma chose wisly to move on. In 2020, Tank would have found him and stopped him, tank is much smarter and instinctive than Teofemale lopez. Loma 36 , Crawford, at 36, just moved up.
