Shakur Stevenson hasn’t faced any adversity thus far. Pernell Whitaker was dropped twice by Diosbelys Hurtado and eventually stopped him. He was dropped by Oscar and then dropped him in the very next round, he was dropped by Wilfredo Rivera in the 2nd fight and also fought Julio Cesar Chavez, predominantly in the pocket and went the distance.
Shakur Stevenson hasn’t showed the same grit and determination that Whitaker exhibited. Shakur Stevenson doesn’t seem to have any killer instinct and that’s why the fans are starting to second guess his chin and doubt his ability to overcome adversity.

I swear Bud and Tank really the same kinda fighters when you think about it. Only difference is Bud being a switch hitter! Both have low output, don’t waste punches, punch placement and accuracy very high, both give up the first 3 rds to collect the data than break you down every rd after that… 💎 but this breakdown was 100% on the money and I think Shakur is an elite fighter 1 of my fav along with Tank and Bud, But this a very hard fight for Shakur when you think about it 🤦🏻♂️

He not only has a wealth of knowledge but he also gives the most clear, unbiased, articulate takes in the business. His takes aren't emotional click bait takes, but well thought, deep perspective takes that is lost in almost all forms of conversation, discussions or debates. Even if I disagree with him (Which is RARE). I always have at least a understanding of his perspective and can see his point. I never ask myself "What the Hell is he Talking About". Someone needs to put this man on DAZN or something equivalent.

I think there are two schools of thought. One is similar to Akoye. Very rational and objective. It’s based on what is MOST LIKELY TO HAPPEN based on observation of both fighters. The other school is that Shakur is the Boogeyman that Tank will avoid at all costs. I think the Boogeyman position is crazy, but we need to put this debate to bed ASAP.
