I've been to all 50 states and several places in Europe. Hawaii is my all time favorite. U can see spend time in the mountains and on the beach in just a few minutes times. Love it. The people are friendly and the food is fresh.

Not a fan if that spider 😂 love hearing about hikes from people who hike if that makes sense. Ps I’m in Spokane so I get that you guys are enjoying the hike itself as opposed to being bummed by the lack of ocean views. Stunning moody hike. Thanks for sharing!
We’re in Maui a few weeks ago and did the same hike. Had slightly better weather but still rainy and muddy most of the way. When the cloud did break the view was spectacular. Besides sliding sands, the other must-do hike is Pipiwai trail. For more adventure take Piilani Highway back from Hana after the hike. We did it in our passenger car with no issue and the view didn’t disappoint
Your point about “almost” on a hike is SO true! We did a hike in Arizona, and people kept telling us that, so we continued…a lot of rock scrambling and super steep inclines, we turned around… 😂
Aloha y’all! All the hikes in Hawaii are muddy. Jurassic Park was filmed on Kauai. Chris, did you get to run the capitol in Honolulu? Did y’all get to go to Hana? Yay, the food segment which is my favorite part. Loving these videos!
