Over a decade on, and this song still resonates with me as an adult. It communicates a very simple truth. In life, you will be faced with tough decisions. The people you love will often self-destruct by their own hand. You have two choices. Be part of the crowd who abandons them in their time of need. Or, you be part of the solution do something about it by addressing the problem. I’ve found myself in these situations many times.

Such an underrated band. I remember seeing them in late 2007 with All that Remains and As I Lay Dying. I actually didn’t know who these guys were at the time but they put on the best performance that night and when I got home that night I started listening to their stuff. Quickly became one of my favorite bands and still are to this day.
This is definitely one of those songs / videos that makes sense in retrospect. I wish I knew back then what I know now, but at least I always had music to help me feel seen and heard through my struggles 🙌
The message of this song is so powerful: There are times where we're all going through some tough times and we need help. This song made my day, and gave me more courage.

I wish i could freeze a time-span of about a year from a couple pasttimes and go back with the knowledge and wisdom just to appreciate how awesome and different it was compared to how nothing original exists anymore.

Unlike most metal songs, this one despite its screamo stuff has a good message. It doesn't end in death like most do, but it ends with reconciliation and forgiveness, not hatred. Its great.

I first heard this song in prison, I was in the S.H.U. in Tehachapi, CA. we only had like five channels, one of them being JCTV, which played a half an hour of skate videos and like a half an hour of metal videos every night. I would sign letters with Y.W.M.T.T. !! I've been out since 2013, and I can't tell you how much this song helped, I was in solitary and I got to hear it probably 10 times in the 2 years I was there, but that "youre worth more than this" part might have been the key factor in me still being here.. hopefully when you guys read this at wrote the song or whatever and understand the difference in the world that you made
