  • From November 2016. Sky News anchor, Dermot Murnaghan clashed with the then editor-in-chief of Breitbart News, Raheem Kassam during a live interview.
Murnaghan berated the right-wing journalist over the fact that he wasn't wearing a Remembrance poppy when he met president-elect Donald Trump. Murnaghan repeatedly asked Kassam why he wasn't wearing a Remembrance poppy, in honour of the British troops who died during military service.
Kassam defended his lack of poppy in the picture, claiming that it was 'On his other coat'. He defended himself further by stating that he has donated £300 to the Royal British Legion, a charity that supports veterans of the British armed forces. Murnaghan rebutted this, insisting that, 'It's about the actual display'.
The Remembrance poppy was popularised in 1921, inspired by the poem In Flanders Fields, by John McCrae.

How on earth do you react to this nonsense without using obscene language?
