- This is my review of the Shark II electric SUP pump. I recorded an unboxing and testing when I first received the pump. After 10 camping trips and blowing up 3 boards in a row on many of those trips, sometimes multiple times, I recorded my review.

We bought one of these last year after watching this video and figured I would comment. This thing is great, love the two stage feature and not having to manually pump up the SUP's anymore! My only whoops is that I now have the Truck running when using this as by the time I finished filling the second SUP on our first foray using this, it drained our Trucks battery enough that the Truck just barely started afterward.
Great video!! Thanks for reviewing the Shark II E-Pump, much appreciate it!!
Excellent review. Thanks Ben.
My pleasure! Glad you liked it.
cool. looks like a great product. thanks for the review
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Ben , wife got a paddle board for Christmas, will check into this
Using the manual pump that comes with the SUP is a bit of a workout. This pump is a breeze. I hope she likes the paddle board. Maybe she'll let you try it out too.
@@CampingwiththeColes I’m a little water shy but maybe when we get up to Mew Lake or Lake of Two Rivers, you guys look like you have a blast on the water
How was that on your truck battery. Did the Eliminator keep up at all that you could use that then just plug the Eliminator into the trailer to recharge?
I did 3 SUPs in a row which is about a half hour. Didn't run the truck at all while using it. Truck started right up after. As for the Eliminator... It was on its last leg and is now dead. It did about a half a SUP and that's it. I can't even charge the Eliminator any more. It's very old. I don't think new Eliminators have a DC outlet these days.
Nice review! Im new to this. Do i need to keep my car running?
It's best to keep it running especially if doing multiple SUPs but i have inflated a single SUP with it without running the vehicle.
Hi I purchased one of these at a Goodwill, and it never seems to turn all the way off. It looked new in the box and it still had some Christmas present wrapping. When you plug it in does the cooling fan always come on immediately without even pressing the power button?
The cooling fan shouldn't come on when you first turn it on. When you run it to inflate something, the cooling fan will stay on for a few minutes once done inflating. It'll shut off once the internal temp of the unit comes down.
Looks like a great product. Is it as loud as it sounds in the video?
The microphone was pretty close to the pump but yes it's pretty loud in stage 2 like most pumps.
Do you have to wait 10 minutes for the pump to cool down, even if you are pumping a single board?
No. You can turn it right off if you want. If you leave it on it will shut off on its own well before 10 minutes.
Is there a check valve to bleed air?
You just switch the hose from the inflate connector to the deflate connector and it sucks the air out of the SUP.
Is there a shark I, does it look different than a shark II?
I've never seen the original shark. If there was one, they don't sell it anymore.
You gave no demonstration on how to use the digital display.
My bad.
I want to like the video but it is currently at 69... therefore I cannot. I am sorrey.
