The most important thing in building/crafting tools are strings. The most important thing in field cultivation for farming = poo.
I wish this guide was up before I started playing, would make things go a lot more smoother. A general guide for resources would a good thing to get in the future - getting into crafting can be quite frustrating if I have no clue where to gather basic components.
I know I am a month late for this, however the "vine" equipment gives you +1 - 2 material harvesting which is incredibly helpful when skilling up weaving (grass & maple bark), also harvest it alone or your followers will bash the resource without bonus equipment yielding less, and you have to trade them for their harvest.
Everything grey should be deconstructed for fine linen and refined copper/iron.
If you have zero issues with cash (through crafting expensive things or stealing) consider melting down everything you arent using.
A crafted vine crit with double harvest yield is something incredible, having a full set critted orange makes gathering a breeze.
In the very beginning git up the hospitals and boats to get all the plants, make sure you make farms and have one for each, preferably additional for liquirish and san-qui for spamming alchemy.
You do have to reach a high tier to reach the ability to make the crafting stations so auctions is a easy way to get the crafting stations , however this requires cash and good RNG to have them show up.
For cooking... well, raw meat would be the go to along with fried veggies to double dip from the meat and use your farms.
While farming meat get all the poo to really get your farms going.
I'd wait with smithing until last. This due to buying & melting weapons will get costly (alleviated by making a dozen wheel barrows of novice potions or tou know... stealing) and you want critted gear for harvesting in ice/lava zones.
Critted gear is the way to go if you are to harvest any node. Bashing a tree for 1 wood/hit is a waste of time. Bashing a tree for 9 wood/hit is good... but 30 per hit is really really good.
EDIT: Keep an eye out for those juicy double harvest bonus items early game. Getting +2 +2 on a single piece is great, letting you replace a piece for heat/cold resist

Thanks for making your tutorials strictly legit. I really dislike advice of the basis of exploits, bugs or obvious imbalances. Not only does it ruin the fun, it will stop working sooner or later.

My pleasure! Nothing wrong in sharing fun exploits though, but they are different from a tutorial to me. It IS fun to break a system, but before that it's even more fun to understand it =)

Sorry for late comment but I don't get1 thing - how you understand that now you can do a double jump? I mean when you will learn new movement stuff there's no any notificanion on the screen and how will I get information of what I can do after that things?

Hire them, and ask them to build it, they won't ask for anything in return, but they will own the building.
This game is very easy.
Take Drunken fighting. There is a skill that gives a ton of max damage and draws based on drunk stats. You can eat/drink as much as you want before a fight, I walk around with about 10k stacks of drunk which will one hit anything.
Start/Join a Sect, and take over the sect. Anyone who is in your sect, you will own their homes. Any stores they own will autogenerate tons of gold every day. Make houses and fill them with bars/wine shelves, as those also generate wine/fish which is great for the drunk stat in addition to about 10k a day per station. Sell the houses to followers of your sect, or gift them.
With the infinite gold, add the gold to your warehouse for the sect. For me, there is a bug where expansion does NOT take gold from the chest. So I put in 100k and it allows me to buy unlimited expansions. More expansions means more sect members. More sect members means more houses to loot.
Congrats, you are now an unbeatable God to almost anything the game can throw at you.
Yeah, use exploits, go big. Duh.
Also I'm pretty sure that there will be a cap on those drunken stacks one day.
@@Ic0nGaming this game is unfortunately full of them, very early access. This is just one of many ways the game broke while playing last weekend lol

Yeah congrats, now you have zero reasons to play the game, and will get bored soon. Ppl should really stop going on reddit and look for exploits, like wtf is this mindset? Use exploit in singleplayer game to become god? Where the fun begins in this? 😂
@@DarekkoZZ I didn't go on reddit. This came up naturally in gameplay, and isn't the only gamebreaking bugs that I found. There are tons in this game lol
